Not a fan of Hayne on the wing and not a fan of Bird to be wearing a jersey at all really, otherwise I think the side offers a bit more in attack than the current squad.

If NSW want to win they have to take 6, 7 and 9 into second game just for continuity . Why they should of started with Farah in the first place but NSW have burnt their bridges there .

Exactly the same team.

Stewart made his bed of unpolishable turds. Let him lay it and embrace the failure he knew so well at Cronulla again

I only through Hall in because I struggled to find another forward who would measure up. I first thought of Heighno and I thought there's no chance that 3 Tigers players will get picked. I thought Hall was much the same type of player. I totally forgot all about Tolman and I think he would be a more suitable player than hall.

The Farah man love on here is getting beyond ridiculous.
The only change will be Hayne on the wing and King out (Galloway may be a chance)

I care little if Tigers players are picked.

I'd rather not have them associated with the disgrace and failure that the Blues jersey has carried for the last five years.

Can't believe the amount of people wanting to drop Gasnier for Idris. Yes Boyd rushed up and shut Gasnier down a couple of times but why? i will tell you, it was because our forwards didn't create any room for him and we were forced to go wide without first rolling forward. Do you think Idris recieving the ball in the same situation would have done anything different, considering he's a lot slower off the mark and has worse footwork than Gasnier.
Others calling for Dugan to be replaced by Hayne what game did you watch? i thought Dugan Uate and Jennings were shinning lights and the only NSW players that looked threatening. Dugan certainly proved to me he is more than capable at SOO level and i think we can build a team around him, he can have a mortgage on the no 1 jersey for a long time imo.
Were not far off the mark but QLDs forwards are the thing that NSW have to overcome, they are dominating and really rolling through the middle and allowing Smith to pick his time to run, they kill us at the ruck and it doesn't matter who you pick in the halves and backs until you stop that you won't stop QLD.

Morris? Soward? King? Young? Mannah?

Thats a dumb comment Alf. Either he or Gidley must come onto the bench to provide spark late into the half. Young is a wasted spot.

Dugan was a little overawed, but stood up to be counted.

I reckon on those repeat sets, Hayne's lack of defensive aptitude would have shone for all to see and QLD would have scored at least once. Dugan was definitely one of Stuarts better picks.

He was a little out of his depth for mine. He took some great bombs and looked dangerous in broken field play, however…

His positional play wasnt that crash hot. He was nowhere when JT chased that grubber for the first try. It took an age for Jono to score yet was never rushed. He was there with Morris for Yow Yehs embarrassing try. He was again nowhere for Slaters match winning try.

He will improve but Hayne needs to be there somewhere if the blues are to level the series.

At least Idris would of got in and helped work the ball out of their own half Think I remember twice Gasnier doing this . I didn't pick Gasnier from the start and I would not have picked him Do you see Boyd trying to put that hit on Idris that he put on Gasnier He would of been roadkill . Think NSW had Idris on Tonga things would of been far different it give you better options both side and would of created more chances . Gasnier can play both sides they would of been better playing him on Nielsen imo

..I can't believe any of you would think there are going to be changes to the side at all. The side will remain, and so long as sticky is in charge, he will stick by them even if some of the players don't deserve to be there after last night.

Those players are just going to have to aim up - draw emotion from the criticism and play football.

Idris is a myth. His poor lateral movement in defence will see him carved up if selected

Well Alf I can't see Jennings or Gasnier being able to cope physically with Hodges or Inglis so either way your taking chances .I think you are better off hoping that Idris can handle Inglis myself
