I think anything is acceptable this year, like wooden spoon I am not fussed. I just wish there was a draft so they could tank. Our big money stars Reynolds Packer are out. Its too much to ask for. Need to somehow get rid of them and make a few good signings for 2021, make some progress next year, and definitely make the finals in 2021. I think thats realistic and i'll be okay with it. Then just make good decisions from then on, and be a professional outfit for many years, long run consistancy. Would take that then make finals this year or next. I follow Magic in NBA and they are trying to do the same thing. Hope it works =p

at least the nba starts in about 10 weeks...and NFL in 4...i probably wont be alive when the nrl implements a draft system/trade/assets system. Nothing will change for the lower clubs in the near future...

don't worry champ- I will change it to Muhammad Ali to reflect the pride, consistency and quality or even stephen bradbury but we don't seem to ever cross the finish line

like i've said many times before and had a chat with Vossy at St Leonards TAFE a few times the NRl system needs to change in terms of drafts; assets; tradesetc...similar to NHL; AFL and NFL. Nothing will change for the next 2-3 years for the tigers. we got lucky with our crop of juniors coming through in 04 with Wests and Balmain but that isn't happening anytime soon.

you obviously got worked up over my comments which shows you care about the club. Honestly I don't anymore. Sad truth is i don't care a whole deal about the club anymore as sad as that is....mates and I always get a laugh every weekend about the tigers (we all tigers fans)...

I used to go watch A LOT of juniors....i could not have been more excited seeing Moses come through with Brooks, Siro, Te Maire et al. It really reminded me of the Wests SG ball side of 04 but the nature of the NRL where junior development isn't inherently rewarded and our juniors left I lost all interest.

Met teddy years ago when he was staying at the back of Mitchel's house (family friends) and was over the moon with the talent coming through. Seeing Mitchell and Korobete carve up reserve grade etc...but after they all left so did my interest in league just dropped...there is no incentive to develop juniors. The sharks will inevitably lose their juniors once their second contract expires as well.

I don't post a lot anymore but NBA: NFL; NHL is really something else...tennis too

i don't get worked up TieDye...which is a little depressing...its like the 90s Wests/Balmain all over again...if you're honest the next 2 maybe 3 years won't change much. Maguire is a good coach but he can't do much without quality players. And the tigers generally are not an enticing club for quality players to come to develop.

Perhaps I should again change my name to Lee Murphy to reflect the standard of this team. I do agree our only real hope is Michael Maguire. But we won't see tangle changes in the form of consistent wins like Souths; Roosters et al until 2021
