Nope. He will cost us dearly in the finals. Played like a cat all year IMO.

He has been down in confidence for much of the season, but has been right back to his best over the past few weeks.

He is improving every week and I am happy for him to remain there now as you do not change a winning team. But let's be honest, he has played poorly for 90% of the year and IMO he remains a question mark, especially under the high ball and on kick returns.

Moltzen Critic #18 Checking in.

Was really good this week but I am not overly worried we have lost him.

The big question with Moltzen is that one word IF If he continues to improve likes he has we may miss him in the future
But 1 good game doesn't make a season But hope he does continue to play well
I for one will swallow my pride and admit he is playing better IF he continues to improve

His confidence and fitness is returning, but it has been painfully slow.

The only issue I see at the moment is that he has played his best the past 2 weeks against average teams with nothing to play for but pride. The real test will come first week of the finals.

Mate they are all quiet because they realized how wrong they were

To be fair to the critics, his play has improved considerably lately. He still has a lot of work to do if he plans on being a long-term NRL fullback though. His positional play and kick returns are still a work in progress. I will say that his recent performances have been very good and his support play off the halves is creating a lot of chances for us. If he could catch the odd contested bomb it would be perfect.

He's only had the best part of the year to find form there, but credit where credit is due, he was bordering exceptional yesterday. The test will be against sides with great kicking games that will target him specifically, particularly with the rushing defence under the high ball.

Moltz gives us options, he is playing really well of late and will do will if he gets a run at the Dragons.

I am in the same boat!

#3.. Yep, was great yesterday, credit to him. But I'm still not fussed that he's leaving.

They say it takes at least a year to get over the type of knee injury he had. He seems to be coming good now and I think he is an asset to the side. Of all the players leaving at the end of the year he is the one I would most like to keep; mainly because of his utility value.

What a load of rubbish mate, he has been dreadful for 90% of the season, he has had three games where he has been better than average and now everyone is wrong? :unamused:

hi my name is tigerdale and i'm one who has bagged Moltzen all season (and justifiably).

he has been great the past month (as has the whole team), so i have to give credit where it is due.

but for 250k a season, i can't justify us keeping him at the club and good luck to him at St George

Sorry, I didn't use the [sarcasm][/sarcasm] tags
Criticism of moltz this season has been warranted, I don't think anything could argue that
