Where do we go now?

Our forwards just don't make enough dominant tackles. When ET comes on and he is your most aggressive forward there is a problem. So sick of people talking about the halves - we lose because we are out muscled

Good question. Mentally we failed to turn up and as soon as something goes against us we fall apart. I don't get it, it's not a question of fitness or strength. It's mental, it's the same thing year after year regardless of the coach and I don't know what else they can do to turn it around. I'm not convinced Bellamy could get this mob into the 8.

But Bellamy would not have picked Marshall for the past month.

Benji's D has been attrocious and a few games have been 16-0 and gone on his amateur level defensive reads alone.

He was dropped for exactly these reasons...yet give the spot now for six games straight and been MUCH worse.

I am disappointed in Madge at this point. Shift Mbye there...play Josh...see if AD can be our long term 6.

At least make a move.

Madge knew Benji was a massive issue after a month and actually acted, yet has sat passively by now whilst the season slipped by.

I think Doueihi has enough ball playing ability to make a fist of 6. I agree Benji needs to go, defensively he's not up to standard. Brooks is playing on borrowed time, he looks too one dimensional and I thought he'd go alright with the rule changes. I'd shift Mbye to fullback, Talau into the centres and AJ to the wing.

The thing is with AD is that he looks like our 6 in 2021. All the mail seems to be we will have a new FB.

So, let's at least give him the final 6 weeks there and let him settle into the spot. Don't waste the first month of 2021 whilst he adjusts.

Add to that, Aloiai is our only starting prop making an impact(in attack too). But thought that was Mikaele's strongest game for a while.
Unless we have more big bodies like Musgrove etc, we ain't dominating anyone up the middle and it will continue to be an issue for us.

It is to be expected. We don't have the players to compete with the best yet. I'm looking forward to the roster changes for next year. Cleary really hurt us with his big buys. Matulino was the best of them, whom I thought was good for us.

Could be worse. Could be Manly.

At least they have excuses...half their squad hurt.

We have actually had the best run of anyone in the comp with injuries this year. We have, literally, no excuses.

To compete with the best, yes...but Chooks had 9 out.

Incredibly inexperienced halves.

And still scored every time down our end for a few mins.

Still a strong pack and a club with quality depth. I am not worried about the loss.

I don’t usually get too into the way players look after a loss but I saw some guys who were shattered tonight at full time (a lot of the team) and some guys that looked generally quite happy (hint: our biggest money earners).

I didn't watch.... Expected this crap so found something else to, do..

This keeps up ill probbaly be walking away altogether in a few years.... It's annoying, depressing, demoralising and undentertaing... What's the point?
