Same I tipped Tigers every single round last year. I hate betting against us.

1st

Rorters, Broncos, Storm, Sharks,, Cowboys, Souths, Penrith stripped of all points for cheating the cap.

Parra still get the spoon on for and against.

I think Newcastle and Canberra have squads to improve there position next year.
The current top eight if a team was to faulter maybe StGeorge or the Warriors.
I see us still somewhere between 8th-10th.

Newcastle should have a top 4 roster now. They will definitely make the 8.

Canberra, with Jordan Rapana injured for half the season, they will be lucky to make the top 12! Unless Aiden Sezer and Sam Williams find form and relive their glory days, *sic*

I think they underperformed and dont see them top 4 but could bump us out of a top eight position. The other team is the Cowboys who are likely to have a better season this year than last with and are definitely top 8 contenders.

16\. Bulldogs
15\. Parra
14\. Warriors
13\. Canberra
12\. Titians
11\. Manly
10\. Cowboys
9\. Saints
8\. WestsTigers
7\. Cronulla
6\. Broncos
5\. Newcastle
4: Penrith
3 Easts
2\. Melbourne
1\. Souths

I think the first team is actually stronger than last years with the addition of Matterson, Momirovski and Musgrove. Matterson is a definite walk up start, Momo I'd say would be first choice as well unless we land a class centre, and Musgrove is no worse than Aloiai or Eisenhuth. Hopefully Garner continues to come on, Grub stays fit and Brooks has a consistent year. If Liddle fails there's always Farah.

I reckon we'll go one spot better and finish 8th. I honestly think that only the Chooks, Storm, Penrith and Souths are guaranteed to make the 8\. Everyone else is thereabouts and a bit of a mystery.

The Triple M's rock!

…....Matterson, Momirovski and Musgrove

Last season we beat the Storm twice and Easts once and came 9th. If we can't jag three wins against the Storm and Easts next year, we will have to find them against other teams in order to come 9th again. So, (assuming we don't beat Easts or the Storm) to make the 8 next year we will have to win four games that we lost this year as well as not lose the matches we won this year (eg Raiders, Saints, Souths, Manly twice).

Personally I think Ivan was right - we overachieved this year. We will need a lot of luck to improve our position next year.

So we beat those sides with our injured players sidelined and with coaching issues and guys like Lolohea, Naqiama, Rochow and Godinet.
We now have a better coach Reynolds and Liddle fit, Mybe, Momirovski and Matterson to replace those we either let go or supposedly haven’t performed well by some people’s standards, and next year is looking bleak?
I think we were unlucky to miss to eight, we didn’t over achieve anything that’s just taking a cheap shot on your way out.
We got robbed by the broncos, went down on the death to Newcastle and Parra, and with those games alone we would have been in the eight.
Next year is ours.
Good pack
Dally M half of the year
Farah(I know some don’t like him but he’s an upgrade on Godinet at the very least)
Marsters,Mybe,Thompson and Reynolds in the Backline, I feel more points will come from these guys playing week to week together.

All good points and I certainly hope you are right. One things for sure, we will start 2019 with a better squad than we had when we started 2018.

Feeling a bit more optimistic than I was a couple months back. Need a good run with injuries. Reynolds has to play 20+ games. If we’re left with Marshall for most of the year, we’re screwed.

same, i feel a bit better after all the drama has died down, and we have gone back to what we call 'normal'. Im just going to wait until the trial matches, so i can see how the team flows under Madge

So 80% of us think we’ll be somewhere between 5-12… that seems about right

yep, i think that most of us are expecting us to make finals. if we make finals next year, i will be happy

I can't see the raiders changing at all. Sure they get JJ Felise but loose Shannon Boyd.
The Cowboys are the only team I reckon will go from rear 8 to top 8\. It will show if Paul Green is the real deal or if he isn't up to the bar. I suspect he is up to the bar and that Thurston stayed 1 year too long. But lets see.

I agree. Knights and Cows to improve at the expense of Warriors and Dragons. Leaves us battling to make the eight and probably slipping a spot or two. I can’t see any of the current top 6 losing too much ground.

Good assessment, got the coach but still to
Many plodders in the side definitely a couple of sides moving above us next season , unfortunately around 10th ,about 4 top liners short of a real go at the 8.

I think we are only two top liners short myself , you can't have superstars in every position
