Where Does Grub Fit In?

Doesn't matter where you play him - because after 1 game he'll be out for the next few months and we'll be slotting Benji back in or worse - relying on that no talent hack ; Tyson Gamble.

It's really important for us as a club going forward, financially and competitively to rid ourselves of these sideline cap drainers. Chris McQueen, Josh Reynolds & Russel Packer. I'm a big fan of Elijah Taylor but he's too good for reserve grade so if he isn't in the coaches plans he can bounce too.

@2005magic Totally agree with your comment,I feel when grub did sign on he was going to be the best thing since sliced bread for us and unfortunately his spate of injuries came at a time we needed him the most...I have nothing against grub,on his day he is one of the best players in our squad and gives 100 percent when on and fit...I honestly do hope that if he goes next year he can find a team and deliver some good footy for them...I rate the guy and he should go out knowing he offered the game something good..

For the money he is costing we need Maloney like performances. Not comparing him with Benji - neither are long term options - but like others have said Benji costs us nothing and when the coach has got him ahead of Josh something has got to give. If he gets another shot - he has to offer more to the team than enthusiasm and energy which we all know he has bucket loads of.

The best player gets the spot, other in reserves.

And until we have a better option for 6 next year, you can't talk about getting rid of him. How about we arrange that first before we shop him around?
