Where is our CEO ?

What would happen if both Robbie & Jason Taylor moved on from wests-tigers ?
There would be nothing to whinge about. :unamused:

I thought this topic was about " Where is the CEO ".
Not the coach and the former captain. :crazy

Wasn't it Farah who got Teddy to comback to the Tigers!!! Please all this garbage the players don't like him is from Green Peace Believers…Coach Taylor goes and signs a 31 year old with a busted knee...I'll show you Robbie who is the BOSS!!! Ask ANY player who has been coached by him what they think!!! After he got marched out of the cricket he should have taken up lawn bowls and just be a arm chair critic like the rest of us!!!!

Another thread taken over by the Taylor haters!!

By the way pinhead, he IS the boss.

Hey Col swing over to the "What will your views be on JT and the club if ….." thread the anti Farah brigade are all over that one. The 'haters" are not exclusive to one man the hate is definitely being shared around. Sad but true.

It is very sad. So let's all stop talking about Taylor and Farah, as it seems both will be with us next season, and concentrate on the new and up and coming players at the club, the pre-season, the nine's etc.

Magpie Col, we all want the same thing a WINNING TEAM!! Just does my head in with many decisions over the last say 5 years….

i thought when reading that post re helping with the goalkicking it left me a bit deflated, that it did not mention other aspects of the game re JT's coaching - we would all expect him to be great in the goal kicking dept.

Goal kicking????? Just FYI goal kicking has nothing to do with a player's kicking game.

Probably in the ring with Moss…

More off-field trouble for the Tigers
Adding to the icy situation at the Tigers is the fact that new chief executive Justin Pascoe and football manager Phil Moss don’t get on. The pair worked together at Penrith and did not see eye to eye on more than one occasion.

Pascoe worked under Moss at the Panthers and Moss was in the running for the Tigers CEO role before losing out - to Pascoe. Hopefully, for the good of the Tigers, the pair can put aside their differences and get the strife-torn club back on track after a nightmare last few months.

These blokes have to work closely together

They would of asked Moss could he work with Pascoe and if he'd said NO , game over

Everything on Sportal has to be treated like garbage. Just like Buzz. Lowest forms of 'journalism' out there.

You really think we'd hire a CEO who our manager of operations (or whatever Moss is) didn't get on with? Even if they had a couple of disagreements, that's not a abd thing for an organisation. Differing view points add to a robust discussion, much better than having yes men who simply agree to any suggestion put forth…

Here's a player who says what he thinks about JT's coaching.

Jack Littlejohn: " "It's real good to be back with Jason Taylor too. He did a lot of work with me in the 20's, especially on my kicking game, and made me a lot better player than what I was."

Is that what you were alluding to?

So, is ANY player who has just joined the club going to bag the coach( even if it is one so obviously inept) he' obviously wants to stay and play first grade here, no matter how unlikely that is in this club .
Unless one of our halves turns into an axe murderer. Even then it's unlikely that he would be dropped.
Seeing he's done such a great job with Littlejohn, it's a pity that he hasn't been able to improve Brooks at all. In fact Brooks has unfortunately gone backwards under Taylor
Also It's also surprising that Littlejohn hasn't been able to grab first grade spot elsewhere , after the Masters coaching. Could it have been just an early suck up to the Coach???
Of course not!

 exactly. What is he supposed to say? If the truth had to be told it would be something like this " i realised at the Roosters there wasn't a chance for me seeing that Maloney got moved on to accommodate Hastings with Pearce ".
" At the end of the Day I'm not going to bag the Coach when I'm looking for an opportunity, I might see things differently but i won't be telling you guys( the media) what I really think, if I have to? i will tell you his better than Bellamy if it means an opportunity for me ". :roll

What else you expect him to say.

Taupau midway through the year when interviewed by talk n sport said how they were right behind JT and what he is doing at the Club, players will be Professional when they need to be and say things that don't necessarily mean what they really think, you'd be naive to think otherwise.

Well, he asked for "ANY" player's thoughts on JT's coaching and I provided it. Last year, many players doing in house interviews for Wests Tigers spoke about how they had "bought in" to the new coaching methods.

Apart from that, I've said all that I've wanted to say and have no comment to make about your feverish rants.

A Rant??? That's not a rant.
Ok maybe I went to far in saying that an axe murderer wouldnt be dropped from our halves.
Maybe he would. there, is that better??

I merely meant to point out that no player , new to any club is likely to come out in public and critise the present first grade coach. ( Not unless he's got an IQ of 2 )
My other point was that Taylor hasn't shpwn much as far as improving Brooks's game.

(Just or your info) , I stated on a post here, after Taylor was given the job, that I thought that he would be great for our two halves. Instead , Brooks especially ,has gone backwards in my opinion. I was wrong.

As for Littlejohn himself, I hope he has a terrific year here and applies some long needed pressure on our halves.
I'm just not confident of that being rewarded( if he can do it)
Now I'm going to take a panodol and have a lie down
