Where we WILL finish....

Every club is 1 or 2 injuries away from going nowhere. Our injuries didnt help this year, but lets be honest, theyve been far worse in the past (look at 2006 for example). Like any club, if we get injuries in key positions we will struggle. Take Benji, Todd Carney, Soward, Hayne, Thurston, Lockyer, Campese, Prince, Cronk, etc out of their respective clubs and none of them will do any better than 8th. Ill take a guess but I wouldnt be suprised if we came anywhere from 1st-12th.

1) Dragons
2) Storm
3) Manly
4) Tigers
5) Titans
6) Broncos
7) Panthers
8) Roosters
9) Souths
10) Warriors
11) EELS
12) Knights
13) Raiders (No campese for majority of the year will cost them)
14) Bulldogs
15) Sharks
16) Cowboys

I see Roosters as very vunerable next year as I think tehy are such a form team (like us, parra and penrith). In saying this there is no teams id rule out of being a chance of making say top six, other than the cowboys, sharks and raiders (i honestly dont think with campese out for half the year they are good enough to compete).

For example I think a team like Souths, if they keep there player son the field could easily be as high as top 3\. Manlys the team I think will go well. I always hate playing them. There forward pack is so good they just bash alot of teams. And although theres no first grade level half, with Brett Stewart back i think theyll be back up there again.

Campese is over-rated… Canberra didn't make the 8 on the back of him. In fact, I rate Canberra a better team without his selfish football. There forward pack will provide a real threat to the 2011 title...

Beware the Vikings!!!

Like this year, we are a Top 2 team in 2011.

My Top 4: Tigers, Canberra, Brisbane, Roosters…

I predict Storm, Manly & Titans will come out of the 8...

Watto, thats a massive call on Canberra with Campese scheduled to miss 80% of the season….

Oh well, I've had a go at narrowing it down a little.

1-2\. tigers and dragons to battle it out for the minor premiership.
3-6\. between the roosters, warriors, panthers, broncos - but I'll take the order i've placed them here.
7-12 will see the rabbits, raiders, gold coast, sea eagles, bulldogs and storm battle it out. storm to start well but will struggle in the 2nd half of the year. I'll take the order posted here. 12th place to only miss the 8 by 2 games.
13-16 eels, Knights, Cowboys, Sharks

1.Brisbane
2.Tigers
3.Dragons
4.Titans
5.Roosters

cowboys, sharks and knights. really? 😕

I see both Penrith and manly slipping in 2011, they lack quality depth. Gold Coast will probably slip a little but still top eight material. Dragons will be up their but will not win another title on defense alone and mistake free football. Dogs recruited well but any teams thats recruits so many players cant expect to get results for at least a season. Chooks will go alright but cant see them getting any better with their current playing roster. Bronks will be the big improvers and could go close. Raiders will be up their. Knights could be a smokey for the eight. Parra,Cowboys and Sharks down near the bottom. Storm will struggle and warriors very seldom put two good years back to back. so based on the above

1–--Dragons
2----Tigers
3----bronks
4----canberra
5---chooks
6---gold coast
7---warriors
8---knights

With tigers beating Dragons in the GF!!!!!!

I will be estatic if wests-tigers finish in top 4 or better.
hopefully the team has better luck with injuries to players in key positions next year.
this season some of the 50/50 call went against wests-tigers.
would be nice if they helped wests-tigers in 2011.
I do think goal kicking will again be a major issue.

Agreed, they became more dangerous in that finals game after he went off the field.

Imagine if they still had Carney…

While I don't want to predict anything this early, I really don't think Manly will finish higher than 8th. Brett Stewart is coming back, but he will have zero confidence after playing about eight weeks of footy in the last two years and his recent legal dramas. He will be playing safe footy to preserve himself. If he does himself another season ending mischief early on in the piece he will be let go.

Lyon will probably move to 5/8 with Foran in the #7 and I think they will both struggle in those positions. Lyon at #6 is good as a stop gap for a match or two, but he's no long term solution.

*Warriors, Bulldogs & Broncos have recruited well. However there's some talk around sacking Ivan Henjak which I feel could be a distraction for them. Warriors also have a HUGE Toyota Cup team with plenty of talent.
*Storm have lost A LOT of players…
*Eels have picked up some has beens in Maitua and Webb + untried first grade coach in Kearney
*Sharks have done alright in getting Jeremy Smith, but have lost some experience in Barrett and Covell and brought in Wade Graham at 5/8 who I'm not sold on.
*Raiders will struggle without Campese
