Where will we finish after Round 26

I've got us finishing in our favorite position of 9 th on 30 points losing out on differentials to the titans

Watching parra tonight I'm doubting we will be beating them next Monday. We also have a terrible record against the chooks so I'm not too sure that anybody should be expecting those 2 games to be wins for us in our current form.

Having fun with the nrl ladder predictor:

We can finish as high as 2nd
We can finish as low as 15th
We can still make the top 8 on 24 points (ie losing our last 4 games)
We can miss the top 8 on 30 points (ie winning 3 of our last 4 games)

Using more reasonable estimates, I have us scraping in in 8th place…

If we win our games against the Dragons and Roosters, but lose to the Bulldogs and Storm, we will finish on 28 points. That could leave us anywhere from 4th to 12th.

That seems realistic not that I wont be barracking for them in all remaining games but 2/4 would be a 2012 overachievement in comparison to how they have actually played this year but we will need to rely on other results to get us to the semis.

Mathematically, after tonight's win, does this change anything? And should we have a separate locked thread to determine whether we should be buying GF tix??

Realistically we can get 4th even if we win all last games and finish on 32 points. Bottom 4 with home ground advantage is our best option.

LOL we can't get 4th if you start thinking mathamatics your no chance note roosters.

I think we can finish 8th warriors are gooooooooooone they suck getting flogged each week, raiders can't win 2 in a row so therefore they wont make the 8 dragons we just ended them tonight. knights have to many hard games to come.
our biggest threat the the titans there F and A is close to ours, we pretty much right now have a 1 and a half game lead on them now.

we gotta win that roosters game at all costs, it would be nice to win all 3 but at least 2 of them

If we win 2 of our last 3 I'm thinking 7th is most likely

Broncos are in big strife with having to play Bulldogs Manly Storm and then Penrith

Hopefully Barba and the Bulldogs put the cleaners through them tomorrow

I remember a few earlier in the season talking the Broncos up

Turns out they have only beaten two sides in the Top 8 and one of them was us (Everyone has that on their resume )

Cronulla at Shark Park would be my guess if we win 2 out of last three first week of the Semis

think of this though guys if we finish 8th lets hope its not the cowgirls or Broncos that finish 5th, then we pretty much would get a home game it would be like finishing 5th, id love to play the sharks if the ladder stayed as it is

Just looked at Sharks run home its pretty ugly as well

Knights a,Souths a,Storm h,Cowboys h

No easy ones there either

I've got us @ 6th with two wins from here; 8th with one win. Two wins is quite achievable.

hmm yeah but think of it like this finishing 7th or 8th is no difference id rather finish 8th if we play sharks then finish 7th and play cowgirls. GOing to be interesting. correct me if I am wrong but dont the winner out of 5 and 8 play the loser out of 2 v 3? or is it the other way around

stupid faiders are are now 2 points behind us and they have a easy run home too warriors roosters they should win both of those and lose to dogs.. hmmm we really need to finally beat the roosters to be safe in the 8

If we win against the Dogs I think we'll win all three games. If we lose to the Dogs and the Roosters we'll probably also fold under the pressure of having to beat Melbourne and we'll miss out. If we lose to the Dogs and beat the Roosters we'll beat Melbourne at home with no real pressure on us to have to win.

At the end of Round 23:

We can finish as high as 2nd
We can finish as low as 13th
We can still make the top 8 on 26 points (ie losing our last 3 games)
We can miss the top 8 on 30 points (ie winning 2 of our last 3 games)

Using more reasonable estimates, I still have us scraping in in 8th place…

Pleaes Manly Smash the nights by 40 this week. however if we beat the dogs we won't have to think of things like this, at least bulldogs are due for a loss
