Where will we finish after Round 26

If we win 2 of our last 3 I'm thinking 7th is most likely

Broncos are in big strife with having to play Bulldogs Manly Storm and then Penrith

Hopefully Barba and the Bulldogs put the cleaners through them tomorrow

I remember a few earlier in the season talking the Broncos up

Turns out they have only beaten two sides in the Top 8 and one of them was us (Everyone has that on their resume )

Cronulla at Shark Park would be my guess if we win 2 out of last three first week of the Semis

I'm pretty sure if we vs Sharks Wk1 it will be at SFS or Homebush, no home suburban finals anymore…..I think

Home Venues Explained
Week One: Qualifying Finals & Elimination Finals
The highest qualifying teams after 26 Rounds will host each match at their normal home venue, with exception to any Sydney based NRL club which will play their 'home game' at either the SFS or ANZ Stadium.

* Home venues subject to NRL approval as suitable to host a Final

Week Two: Semi Finals
The highest qualifying teams (after re-ranking following week 1 results) in each match (winners 3 & 4) will host in their home city.

The following home City venues may qualify to host a Final in Week 2:

New South Wales / ACT:
Sydney: Sydney Football Stadium, ANZ Stadium
Canberra: Canberra Stadium
Newcastle: Energy Australia Stadium

Queensland:
Brisbane: Suncorp Stadium
Gold Coast: Skilled Park
Townsville: Dairy Farmers Stadium

Victoria:
Melbourne: Etihad Stadium, MCG

New Zealand:
Auckland: Mt Smart Stadium

* A decision on which days both Finals will be played will be made following the completion of Week 1

Week Three: Preliminary Finals
The highest qualifying teams (after re-ranking following week 1 results) in each match (winners 1 & 2) will host in their home Region.

The following Regions and venues may qualify to host a Final in Week 3:

New South Wales/ACT:
All Teams: Sydney Football Stadium, ANZ Stadium

Queensland:
South East Queensland Region: Suncorp Stadium
North Queensland Region: Dairy Farmers Stadium

Victoria:
Melbourne: Etihad Stadium, MCG

New Zealand:
Auckland: Mt Smart Stadium

* A decision on which days both Finals will be played will be made following the completion of Week 2

thanks Ink, i appreciate that as i couldnt find it anywhere!

Thats stillt the same as last year then isnt it? Just need to hope if we get in the 8 that we play another Sydney team. (although playing the warriors at SFS didnt do much for us last year, lol)

From the ladder predictor off my tipping forecast, I get us either playing Broncos at Suncorp, Cowgirls at DFS or our home game against either Broncos or Sharks… I get these varied results as I'm not sure on a few games so I tried it with both etc....
Coming 6th would give a nice advantage for week 1 considering the chances of being interstate if we end up 7th or 8th.

Under the AFL system, no team finishing lower than 4th has ever contested the Grand Final… I suppose we will once again re-write History?!

We will finish 6 or 7th... C'mon Tigers, SMASH these Muts!!!

Last time I checked AFL and NRL were 2 different games

NRL players aren't pea hearts like the AFL players

Course an NRL side will win from outside the Top 4

so in other words if we finish 8th and play sharks its the same as finishing 5th because it will be at SFS or ANZ anyway.! lets hope we get to play a sydney team

Why is it people forget 1995 and 1996 ARL seasons??? the bulldogs WON with this system from 6th place it wsa OUR system before the gayfl even took it over, so we would not re write history at all it's already been done the first year it was used

There is a bigger gulf in the AFL between the top 4 and bottom 4 as well.

If we win 1 of our last 3 we will be sweet.

Canberra and Newcastle are no chance to win all 3 against the sides they are playing.

I reckon we will win 2, finish on 30, and play the Sharks

It's possible that we'd be at a bigger advantage finishing 8th than 7th.

It's all dependent on the Sharks. Having to travel to Queensland is a death wish in September, but if we have to play the Sharks, the new rules state the game must be played at the SFS or ANZ Stadium.

Either we finish in the top 6 OR we have to play the Sharks.

The Telegraph has us listed as $1.25 to make the top 8\. That seems very optimistic to me…
