Who could be the next SOO Captain ????

Wade Graham why do people suggest Graham as Captain.

Reasons Wade Graham can't be NSW Captain
1\. He won't make the starting side with Frizell, Cordner (who was injure after being our best in game 1) and Jackson all in front of him.
2\. He will be lucky to make the bench with only 1 backrower on the bench last night it will prob be cartwright.
3\. He has only played 1 Origin
4\. His one Origin he made less tackles then the other starting forwards but with 4 missed the most.
5\. The only forward form NSW he made more meters then was Frizell who played half the minutes
6\. He is a convicted drug cheat - Isn't one of those enough as captain of our state
7\. He is a tool

Woods will definitely be in the discussion - he's pretty much the senior forward in that pack now with Gallen gone, and is very much a dominant presence on and off the field.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if they did go with an 80 min player - who that'd be I'm not sure. Graham would be a good shout, but is he guaranteed his spot medium and long term?

I really don't understand why people don't like Woods as captain of WT - he's clearly a good leader.

I thought it should go to someone, not Woods, whom has already extensive capt experience - who could that be?

Have someone in mind BBF? lol

I think woods is going well at the tigers. He's probably the favorite.

Woods isn't captain material at all.
He is quiet and reserved.

As well I don't think he is one of the brains behind the game whom can analysed and direct the game whilst in the paddock. I seen Moses telling him what to do. My mate told me that was the half's job.

There is a saying amongst pilots that you are only as good as your last landing. Perhaps best if Woods isnt in the Captain's seat.

Yeah these are all good reasons, particularly 6 and 7\. Anyone dumb and unprofessional enough to show up to an ASADA interview in trackpants and thongs should not be captain.

Cordner is the most likely. He plays 80 as a starting 2nd rower and has a pretty clean cut image which NSW may want following on from the era of Gallen and Bird.

Well the second sentence is just clearly false.

Interesting that Woods and Klemmer were apparently the only blues players to stand around for Smith's speech at the end.

Smith had probably dropped an elbow into the head of every other player during the course of the game so none of them felt like showing him any respect. Empty shows of respect just cheapen actual respect, which should be earned.

There's an act of maturity and leadership right there.

8\. He isn't even a captain at club level.

Strictly speaking respect has to be earnt, considering what the Maroons did to our youngsters did they deserve respect? They elbowed and come in with knees at heads when the attacker already on the ground. As earlier stated for every dirty play NSW should have refused to have shake hands with that dirty player. And if many in the team are guilty then it is systematic and the whole team gets ignored - just like the whole Russian team are barred from the Olympics.

Fair enough , but it's a big man that puts himself above all that crap.
Woods and Klemmer can be proud of themselves.
