Who I feel sorry for..

Very well said @Newtown: re your comment in "who I feel sorry for".
I feel embarrassed for our fans, rather than feeling sorry.
And I doubt fans from other clubs would feel sorry for us, they wouldn't have time as they would be too busy laughing instead, that we needed to send on a bloke with a broken leg.
I said in a post a week or so ago Farah ain't no Cooper Cronk as Cronk had two good legs and could still pass the ball in setting up plays.
Maybe I have missed it, but I haven't yet heard why Madge made such a ridiculous decision in sending Farah out.
I'm hoping it wasn't for a sentimental reason, as we needed to finish strongly as possible and as positively as possible :fa-smile-o: , and that did not happen :skull_and_crossbones:
As you said Newtown, Farah should have ruled himself out of the team for the sake of the team. As he didn't, how did Madge not realise Farah shouldn't have been selected????
I think something stinks.

Whatever. Our bench stunk, but who do you put in? Packer? Rochow? McQueen? Give Robbie what Taylor robbed him of. A place on the bench. Nosteramus and baba vanga probably didn’t see the injury to thompson - how was Madge supposed to plan for it?

You certainly are entitled @fibrodreaming: I'm in the same boat as you are mate.
I hope we don't fall off the perch for at least another 5 years, otherwise, it may well remain at 1 premiership in a whole lifetime, Yuk.
Hang in there Fibro :fist:  .

lmao. Madge was screwed no matter what he chose. Even if Mbye wasn't injured, there still would've been the issue of him not having trained there for 2 months. And then there would've been those mad for not giving Farah his last hoorah.

@Kazoo-Kid team must be in bad shape for Madge to select a player with a broken leg to play in a qualifying finals.

The squad was in terrible shape leading into the game:
* 8 injured players - Matulino, Packer, Aloiai, Mbye, Liddle, Fonua, Thompson (game day), Farah.
* 6 players either not ready or hadn't played first grade - Smith, Seyfarth, McIntyre, Bradley, Madden, Talau (would've been unfair to play him).
* 1 player who would have provided absolutely nothing - Rochow.

So basically out of around 33 players, there were only 18 we realistically could've chosen. McQueen was omitted from the squad 24 hours prior, so it was impossible to draft him in. I think he may have played if he was in the 19 instead of Talau.
