Who I feel sorry for..

I don't know how anyone can feel sorry for the players , they were the ONLY ones who had control over what could happen yesterday

previous 2 games gave the fans a false sense of optimism i think. two sides who were well below a quality standard NRL team and therefore we got punched in the mouth against a better squad (albeit not even that great of a side).

I can see us finishing 8th,9th,10th next year if the roster remains similar or the same.

Madge. A guy came to him with a muscle strain before kick off....so he had to replace him with a guy with a broken leg. Classic wts. Only would happen to us. Welcome to the mad house madge.

He didn't have to replace him with a guy with a broken leg. That guy should have been well and truly ruled out a long time ago. It was awful decision making.

Maybe that player should have ruled Himself out a long time ago. At least for the sake of the team so that they would have a better chance to qualify for a well earned semi final spot. The same guy by his involvement in the murky business of taking up an ambassadorship role also cost the club big CAP money team and a lost chance to buy at least one quality player in 2019 at least.

Like i've said before, tigers fans have some solid backbone/resolve. I mean i honestly don't follow the tigers much anymore- too many years of let downs. i never get too high nor low anymore and follow NFL and NBA.

The roster looks like it will be the same next season as well.

Tigers fans have got to be the most passionate out there considering this side hasn't had success in almost a decade and yet they packed Leichhardt out...how many fans would we have if the tigers were successful?

Much respect to the fans!

his 3 mates have all done well since they left
brooks as i said has a lot of shortcomings but he works as hard as anyone. Poor guy has nothing to show for it.
i wonder what the record for most nrl games without finals is..

I feel sorry for the kids of us Tigers fanatics.

They won't stay committed for much longer

Content failure and teasing from other bandwagon fans.

Wining is the only remedy.

… except us fans, Luke Brooks.
what’s that now, 7 seasons in the nrl without finals

While it is tough for Luke, what about the fans ? I started following the Magpies in the late 1950s when I followed the team all over Sydney with my father. So, in 60 years of following the Magpies/ Tigers, I have seen our team win the grand total of 1 premiership - one premiership in 60 years !

Am I entitled to feel sorry for myself ?

Geez a bit rough Newtown. You can hardly blame Farah for costing the club cap money because he was offered an ambassadorship by our CEO, an offer that he hasn’t even taken up yet by the way.

The top 5 players in the NRL who are on the longest run of no finals games are all from the Tigers :white_frowning_face:

@tig_prmz I feel so bad for Luke Brooks. He's the first guy people lashed out at yesterday, yet once again, he was busting his guts. Ran the ball 15 times for 116m. On top of that, the guy had to make a ridiculous amount of tackles for a halfback (34) AND he was the only kicking option, as Benji seemed to shy away from it (1 kick the whole night).

Great metre-eater but lacked skills and game sense. His success rate under the high ball was dicey, and I still haven't forgiven him for needlessly racing out of the line to hand Melbourne victory in the 2nd last minute.

Yeah, not quite up to it. That missed tackle really hurt.
