Douehi played the trial but Benji kicked. Yikes!

Who is our kicker for 2020?

Based on today, probably Benji. Or Momo when he comes back.

Damn.
Those close games are as good as lost without a bona fide kicker.
Is it fair to say this might cost us 8-10 pts this year??

Doueihi will kick over Benji. Even people involved with the club were surprised Benji took the kick over Doueihi, it was mentioned Adam pulled up sore from training yesterday which is maybe why he didn’t kick. Mbye Momirovski and Doueihi will all be ahead of Benji

Marshall and Doueihi took 2 shots each - both landed 1 from 2.

Momorovski will probably get the gig when fit...he seemed to be striking them well at the back half of last year.

Unless one of our guys steps up, we will need to start scoring all our tries under the posts.

All average but would've thought that mbye would be kicking v warriors. Sadly, got hurt. So, most likely him unless Momo is in the R1 team.

Neither Benji or Doueihi looked convincing. I am not sure Momorovski or Doueihi will make the side for round 1, so likely Benji or Mbye.

Need to make sure all 4 put in as much practice as possible before round 1.

I can see a kick off coming to decide.

Do we have a specialised kicking coach at WTs? If not, bring someone in to work with AD and Momo this year and rectify this problem.

Who would do that? Len Killeen? Pat Richards?

We've got a few and they may not be 100%
But they're all better than Esan.

Momo
Douihei
MBYE
Benji

In that order.

Len Killeen?? Pretty sure alot of clubs goal kickers get regular coaching which has got to help. I couldn't care if we used Halligan, so long as this area of our game improves.

Didn't they have Halligan at the end of last year?

Glad he wasn't teaching commentary.

The goal kicking still looks shabby. I hope Benji doesn't get the gig, but none of the alternatives look that good either.....perhaps between Momo and Doueihi - can't Hodgson give them some coaching:anguished:

This is a problem that needs to be rectified quickly....please do not let the goal kicking let us down again this season:angry:
