@GNR4LIFE I would say by the time Cleary got there Woods and Tedesco had already committed to Dogs and Roosters.
As for Cherrington he was a gun junior for us in the 20s, he led us in the NSW Cup and we did well there . Taylor then then does one of his amazing purchases Ballin (must go down as one of our worst signings) Cherrington actually played first 5 games in first grade at that time because both Ballin and Farah unavailable. Then was never selected again. Not sure why he did not go well at other clubs, however Cronulla had him and look at the hooker talent their comming through.
,Also, he basically told Paseca that he would never play first grade and Stringer (Taylor's reserve grade coach mate , left Paseca on the bench in reserves).
These are just are few things he did , he did so many bad decisions , it was ridiculous. Its almost like he sabotaged our club , then goes back to the Roosters , who just signed up Tedesco. If Taylor was not the worst who is.

@tigger19 that game is what did me for JT. I don't think Lawrence had switched to 2nd row for that long prior and ol mate still waited for 2 or 3 tries before he put Lawrence back to centre.

Some were inept at times. Others not the sharpest tool in the shed, or took bad advice or became greedy, or got stars in their eyes.

I feel I have to once again come to the defence of Jason Taylor, as there is again so much bollocks being written about him by others.

Firstly JT was not a great 1st-grade coach, although from memory he took Parras under 23's to a grand final and won.

He was not a great 1/2 back, but he was a bloomin good 1/2 who played with a lot of guts and determination and gave his best in every game he played.

He is a bloke that had a lot of pride and passion for our Wests Tigers and only wanted the best for Us, and there was never any off the field shenanigans or controversy.

He was also a very determined man with a good strength of character, and being our coach when Robbie Farah was sacked I feel JT may have at least been partly responsible for that...which was IMO the correct decision at the time, IMO :mother_christmas: :tropical_fish: :christmas_tree:

He was and Ballin was a spite signing to ensure Robbie was out the door and he had an able replacement, that worked out well, played what 30 minutes in 2 years.

I'm having a rethink about all this.
I voted Cleary Because his name starts with C like C...
But the arguments for Moses and to a lesser extent Woods are sound.
However, I've been pondering the worseness of worser and I've come up with Tim Simona.
Ok, Cleary walked, perhaps knowing all along that he was going to get an offer from the black cats. Leaving us with a pile of dead wood.
Moses tanked. Full stop.
Simona though is in a league of his own. He actively bet against his team mates. Take one vote off Cleary the C and give one to Tim.

@Muffstar When you look back, the Tigers must of signed Taylor based on the time he had at the Roosters, then we lost Tedesco to the Roosters, then when Taylor gets dumped, the Roosters again pick him up fairly quickly. I know Moses tanks a games and is full of himself, however he did not cause as much damage as what Taylor did. I sometimes find it hard to believe that Taylor was so clueless.
