Who is your favourite player, and why?

Thought with all the rumours and mind numbing threads about who is doing what or going where and for what reason, that we could use a bit of a diversion. Mine is Chris Heighington, just because of his work ethic and the fact that he always gives everything he has. He may not be the biggest or the most dynamic, but there is something to be said for an honest toiler putting his heart and soul into his club. A throwback to an earlier time.

Previously it was tuiaki because I loved watching him run over the top of the opposition (something our current forwards can't do) but it's now Chris Lawrence…. Speed, strength and has hid head screwed on right. Smart young kid will all the talent in the world. Nothing beats him getting a ball on the chest... The dummy 2 lote then on come the afterburners

Gareth Ellis

One can only admire a man who gives his absolute best everytime he takes the field for the Tigers. He is one of Britains finest citizens.

Easily Chris Lawrence, this bloke is the ultimate professional on and off the field and he is what this team should be built around!

Huge admiration for Lawrence…& that was before his hip injury!!!

I usually dont like playing favs, but he & Farah I have a soft spot for.

Lawrence easily - great player, great guy - to see how well he played last friday after a potentially career ending injury but a few months ago speaks volumes for his ability, determination and attitude.

A close second would be Ellis - always gives 110% - even when is in "not in form" he busts his gut

Love the skills and wow factor of Benji and Robbie. When they combine for a try I am always grinning from ear to ear.

Even when they are not on song, which has been a large portion of this year, they are still what divides us from a loss and a win.

Individually and together they have won us every game this year.

Chris Lawrence. Fast, strong, tough and smart. Love the different lines he runs not just a bash n barge centre! Seems like a great bloke too!

spot on mate agree 110% saved me writing

Kieran Foran.
He is THE strongest 5/8 in the game, I love watching him and Benji team up for the halves partnership for NZ.
He leaves it all on the field, is all heart and is a great defender.
Would love to see him in a Tigers jersey more than any other player from other clubs.

Lawrence.. I admire his speed, skill, heart, composure & the way he has taken on the NRL from such a young age. Benji close 2nd, excitement machine!

Chris Lawrence
Big, strong, talented, level headed, articulate, seems a decent bloke and a good sport.

Agree 100% with this, he just edges out Gareth Ellis for me (who loses points for being a pom).

i dont have an out and out favourite. benji excites me most and has given me the best moments, i love Gareth Ellis & Heino and you know what you are going get from them.
I always have an up comer im in love with and for me that is Dwyer

x2

Tuiaki was phenomenal.
Now it has to be Lawrence.
Except for the skills, he is the toughest bloke out there,
handles himself nicely off field,
passionate
determined
powerful
aggressive when he wants to be
A COMPLETE PACKAGE.

minus one thing that I'm not sure is
is he a smart footballer? when you talk footy to him,
does he seeem smart? like the melb boys?

MUST BE THE FUTURE CAPTAIN OF :sign:
