So who do you think will win, or want them to win the premiership this year?

Want: manly to beat bulldogs in extra time.

think: cant go past the cowboys this year tbh. bowen and thurston are big game players. they will both step up big time. big fast strong forward pack. bulldogs andstorm imo won't be able to score many points against good defenses. im thinking manly vs cowboys

your thoughts guys?

This will be unpopular on here, but I actually want Souths to win :mrgreen: Other than Souths, I wouldn't mind if North Qld or Cronulla get up. Anyone, but Canterbury for me - the thought of that toothy Eddie Munster lookalike holding up the winning trophy, as captain, gives me nightmares!

Melbourne are average at best, only just starting to regain their mojo

Bulldogs got thumped by the Raiders for crying out loud. And they should've lost to a mediocre team last Friday: us

Souths have simply fallen off their perch, and won't recover in time

Cowboys are Manly's closest rivals in my opinion

I think we'll see Manly go b2b….beating Melb in the GF

If the ladder stays as it is, Manly will take it out, beating Melbourne in the grand final. Bulldogs will make a swift exit and North Queensland will take Melbourne right to the end in the prelim. If North Queensland can slide into the top 4 (ie Newcastle beat Souths next week), then I'll give them a chance, but under the new system I don't think any team outside the top 4 will go the distance.

In short, Manly to take it out, Melbourne runners up, North Queensland the bolter, Dogs to go out with a wimper in the finals.

It wont happen in this order but would love to see the Bulldogs and Souths get kick out first followed by Melbourne, Brisbane and Manly.

After that I don't really care.

I'd be happy with a Rabbits-Sharks grand final. One team that's never won anything and the other who hasn't been champion for 40 years. My best friend is a Sharkies fan so I'd be cheering for them. Plus, Gallen deserves to win a premiership, simply for his loyalty to what was a sinking ship for a long time.
