If the team want to start winning the only person on that list capable of driving the team forward is Hastings .. need a talker and screamer . Some have already been and failed others need to concentrate on there games .
The team needs a total reboot so starting with a captain that talks is a start.

Our only option is a player who isn’t even an established NRL first grader? No wonder we’re in the position we’re in.

Cold hard facts pretty sad but that’s what has happened .

Hastings needs to establish himself first. The fanfare around him is getting ridiculous now.

It has been over the top since his junior days. Yes I have seen him a bit in the Illawarra juniors and my view is he is underwhelming. He should fit in nicely.

If Madge is picking the strongest possible team then yeah. Should be Twal, Stefano and Peachey starting with Joffa, Mikaele and a second rower and hooker on the bench.

When we lost Lawrence, Farrah and Benji all at once we didn’t only lose a big part of our identity, we lost years of experience and leadership, as well as the best Tigers role models we have had for a decade. It’s a good reason to have them back at the club in some role.
Really quite amazing that a club could be so lacking in players with “captain” qualities.

The lack of senior leadership - i think explains why we ended 14th and some of our big losses

We really need to make sure all of our recruits this year are senior leaders who bring a positive influence

I went Brooks because I don’t think Tamou did enough to keep it. I’m keeping positive thinking Brooks will have a ripper pre season, the penny will drop that he is there to lead and Madge will be giving everything to take the target off his back in 2022. If none of these things happen, well…..
