Even the ones not bolded with the exception of Leilua and Tuilagi would be lucky to make any other teams top 17 and you're deluded to think otherwise.

It is only my opinion but our squad is far better than results indicate. Where we are on the ladder is consistent with the trend of performances of the previous 3 years. Our Board had the opportunity to address this last year and squibbed it. All supporters have been let down by the Board and now we're paying the price for it. Our players should have the opportunity to be exposed to a new voice, new ideas and new strategies in the dressing sheds and on the field.

I guess you missed his condescending and personal swipe at another poster who disagreed with him on the first page which basically sums up his entire history on here when someone disagrees with him and asks him to defend is ridiculous opinions.

Collectively the worst squad in the NRL by a long way but most of our players could get a run in other clubs and hold their own.
Eisenhuth labelled a plodder here by most no one gave a rat's when he left. Now hold's a his position in the most talented team in the comp.

Just for the record I liked Eisenhuth and wasn't surprised when he got picked up by Penrith.

We are like the spare parts club of the competition. Clubs just pick off our guys to fill gaps in their squads, give them some chance to play finals, and for the most part in stronger teams they go ok.

I think this Spring we are having a sale, but the problem is that we have to replace them with someone.

A couple of class players would turn us around. I think we are building fairly well. We just need a couple of quality juniors to come through ideally in the outside backs/fullback.

The thing with Juniors is they are not aways ready to step up when you need them. [That is on us to get pathways right]
The ideal progression would be to have a few forwards and backs promoted to the top 30 every year from pathways, like Rua.
If we don't we find ourselves paying overs for top players or settling for retirees.
Good juniors coming through are cheap to start with.

Brooks, Liddle, Ofa, Simpkin, Mikaele, Garner, Laurie, Talau, Seyfarth, Leilua, Tuilagi would easily make the squads of other teams. There are probably others I have overlooked and I apologise. to those players. Our squad is not as bad as you and others are making it out to be.

While their performances have not always been ideal, the reason we are struggling is due to poor coaching. We've gone backwards over the last three and a bit years. No re-writing of history will get around that fact.

Oh absolutely! Who wouldn’t want to coach these guys? After all, Paws thinks we have a nice little team of potential all stars and thinks we‘ve been underperforming for only 3 years.

A lot of our squad would make top 30 in other teams.. there is a finite pool of rugby league players.. just not at the salary that we pay them.. that is more the issue..
