Just my team:
1 Mbye (Doueihi doesn’t look fit and needs a rest)
2 Nofoaluma
3 J Leilua
4 Talau
5 Kepoao
6 Marshall
7 Brooks
8 Packer
9 Grant
10 Aloiai
11 Garner
12 L Leilua
13 Eisenhuth

14 Twal
15 Mikaele
16 Blore
17 McIntyre

18 Lawrence
19 Clarke
20 Walters
21 Cini (not going to play but looks good to me)

Marshall and Brooks, really?

What are our options right now?

We only have one NRL level half, Brooks will be back at 7 next week. All the others have had plenty of chances and have all shown less game management than Brooks.

I agree and if we are going to make changes, do it with a view to the future.Bring Madden in on the right and Brooks on the left. Asu Kepaoa on the interchange would provide more flexibility. Let's see what Madden can do.

Isn’t he a goal kicker too, I agree time to plan ahead, Brooks will be on the left next year, so let’s try Madden on the right with him

Maddens strike rate in NSW cup was only 62.5% in 2019 so I doubt he’d be more effective than our current crop of goal kickers... Unless he’s been practising. He’s had plenty of time.

Bring in Madden. Pair him with either Marshall or Reynolds. Or maybe play Doueihi at 6 when he's had a rest to get fit.

Completely agree with this list.

That is the side I'd go with as well.

I like all the new changes ,the season is over so lets see who takes their chances and who can show us anything like McIntire. At least if we see some loses i wont feel as frustrated as i have after last night because i know we are playing players in correct positions.End of season when Benji, lawrence and possibly shop Brooks we search at home and UK for talented backs with one that can kick goals at 80%

We have to start looking at overseas for talent and take a chance. The raiders are doing it, the Dogs are starting to do it.

At least Smith is a genuine fullback and knows how to play the position, rather than being a pretender. The kids played Australian schoolboys, he’s no mug.

Yes he is, he's shown nothing in state cup so far.

If AD is in doubt I would put Benji to FB if AD is playing play him 5/8 Packer and Eiso should be back the new kid from the Rorters should get a run put him in the Centres Tommy T defence is still a bit suss but can stay on the wing Walters to the bench

Benji should be nowhere near the team unless it is on the coaching staff.

Or possibly Reynolds for Benji, who looked ready for another rest tonight.

Benji is fooling himself if he thinks he can take up a cap space next season. Retire while you are still in front.

I think Madge is getting back to his old tricks.
Doueihi played that second half with an hamstring injury.
When Madge was asked if Doueihi is injuried he said what injury? You saw that break he made.

Is Madge back to pushing our players to play injured?
It was convenient with Twal as Eiso was in form and Mikale was replaced by Packer but who do we honestly have to cover Talau and Doueihi who are both playing injured.

Yep I was thinking the exact same thing.

The on field leadership issue needs to be addressed as of this week Mbye needs to relinquish the captaincy immediately . Madge desperately needs to find a replacement amongst the men he has to choose from . I think there are a few candidates that would fit the bill for the remainder of the season .

Jesus people can overreact.
We lost it sucks but what we are seeing is the team cant back up madges play style 2 weeks in a row. We have had some of the best games I have seen a tigers team play in years. Now that we are getting those games we need to develop consistency.

We look bashed tape everywhere players clearly playing hurt.

We are young mainly and will develop. We really missed a forward leader and as has been said alot we miss speed. And truth is we don't have a consistent player in the halves.
Imo madge is weeding out who can cope in this system and who can't . We are seeing that a fair few cant.

Also while you are a mathematical chance you have to try. This season over is such crap. Season was over in 05 as well until the streak.

Or, he may have to alter his system of gardening techniques so that they can cope.

I appreciate the sentiment but that backline would get MURDERED by the Knights.

I guess then that there'll be a very similar backline as last night, barring injury and allowing for the return of BJ Leilua. And they'll get murdered by the Knights like in round 2.

I admire your never say die approach but this isn't the 2005 side. They do say die.
