I don't get it

Why are the Newcastle nights wearing their alternative strip that resembles the Wests Tigers colour.

When browsing the WWW my eye is drawn to photos or NRL players wearing orange only to find its the knights,

Does this rile anyone else ???

Nope because the club has given the colour up. We are black and white now.

I have no issues with the knights or tigers jerseys. It's really not a big deal.

I would like to know where the money fans spend on ANZAC day tickets and merchandise goes though.

Doesn't rile me so much as I just think it's bloody ridiculous, since the Newcastle colours are supposed to be red and blue! How orange fits in with their traditional colours, I have no idea.

Many teams seem to be moving away from their traditional colours these days - Penrith for example are now known as the men in black, but what happened to them being brown and white? And Melbourne, Cronulla and the Warriors are often unrecognizable in their playing strips. It's getting to the point where no one will know or recognise their team colours anymore. Everyone will have to wear all the colours of the rainbow to the matches in future just to cover all the bases!

has to be the worst jersey in the comp. they look like a bunch of tradies.

I think that is the whole idea. Tipping the hat to the hi-vis of the mines and other industry that forged Newcastle.

That's 2 seasons in a row that the Knights have used the jumper and finally some sense from a member of the forum to explain the situation rather than going off half cocked!.

At the end of the day, every club can use whatever colours they like. Several clubs share colours, WT's haven't copyrighted the colour orange, so its pretty much fair game.
