Brooks isnt it. We need an organising 7.
Priority #2- ***a ball playing lock. I'd even try Liddle at lock*** and put Simpkins at 9.
Not particularly having a dig at you 2005, but Im sick of seeing this. Because it worked for 15 minutes last year and because of Watson/Radley we all need a small "ball playing lock".
Have you guys seen how many breaks are made through the middle third against us. The last thing we need is one less big guy on the field.
Mate Im with you we need to shore up the middle, get go forward, get the ball to speedy backs and start defending as it should be,not half hearted attempts ..
Recruitment needs to really understand their job and the game...no more soft touches as in previous years including this year...
Wasn’t so long ago people were singing the praises of Hartigan and Maguire when it came to recruitment
Its the young blokes we have recruited that are our future and they get full marks for that.It will take time for them to mature but its no surprise that out lower grades are looking far healthier
Hope you are right I do think that maybe 40-50% will make it but believe we need to balance this with good experienced player’s
That is true,if we get 1 in 3 to FG standard we have done well. The thing is you have to get the production cycle working and that is something we have neglected for at least 8 years
