Why new Shark Seumanufagai left the Tigers

Another who never seemed to realise potential. At times he looked great but that was few and far between… his "big minutes" are far from being quality minutes most of the time.
Twal is a much better player so its worked out well IMO.

This is probably the reason he was only offered minimal coin.

Didn't Ivan dump him a couple of times after complete brainsnaps? Being honest, I do not think he was wanted.

"To go from wooden spooners to winning a premiership in a few years means they have a great culture" could quite possibly be the most moronic statement to have ever come out of a RL players mouth, and that is saying something. It was the DRUGS Ava, the DRUGS! That is why drug cheats take drugs, to be successful. The Sharks achieved that aim.
Ava sounds like an imbecile, would probably struggle to pass the HIA assessment even before copping a knock to the melon. Will fit in well at the Sharks with fellow rocket-scientists such as Fifita, Gallen, Dugan, Flanagan, Wade Graham etc

No point getting annoyed or personal over him leaving. He wanted a change because he wants to play finals football, so be it. Personally I think Cronulla will slide a little further down the ladder next season. Losing guys like Bird and Maloney hurts them and Gallen and Lewis are not going to get any better at their age.

Once Moylan starts cut grass in the Shire they might slip quicker than you think.

If he had come out and said that I left because I got a better offer from the Sharks then I think most people would have accepted that, but to come out with these comments makes me agree with the above comments around the thinking that he somehow thinks that it was everyone else's fault that we didn't win the comp.

I was initially going to put the boot into Ava but I think his situation is much different to that of the Big 3.
He’s a bench prop who’s on lesser coin and gets the call from a premiership winning coach saying he’s wanted at a club that should be playing finals if not challenging for the title next year.
He wanted the change and got the opportunity. So good luck to him. Only thing I didn’t like is the ‘winning culture’ rubbish. Of course we know how they got the winning culture.
In saying that of course who knows what might happen. Hopefully the Sharpies will slide and miss the finals and we somehow sneak in.

Hope our players are taking all of this on board that their teammates left because they thought that they were not good enough to play finals so had to go elsewhere. You'd hope it would fire them up. Though with the matey culture that exists with players these days, they probably wouldn't care, which is sad.

Ancient history ladies and gents , most clubs turnover around 20 percent of their roster each season

Your on the bus or you will soon be under it

Yet another player publicaly stating that they left to play finals footy.

Yet another player parachuting into a club with continued success rather than establishing that success at Wests.

Good luck to him, he left pretty graciously so he's not a patch on the other three tossers.

I'd rather he had come out and said "football's a short career so i need to look after my family and this deal gave me greater financial security".

At least be honest about it if he's going to go into detail.

I think the Sharks will slide, but they seem to have a strong culture down there that keeps them in the game.

Ava is a good bench prop who is better than Latimore, so they will get something out of his signing.

Is anyone else concerned with front row depth if packer and matelino injure we going to struggle.

At the moment apart from Packer and Matulino we still have Grant, Twal, Eisenhuth, Sue, Aloiai and Felise.

That is 8 players out of 30 as front row - How much depth do we need?

Off the top of my head I'd say we have probably close to the best front row depth in the entire comp (Panthers have better), so no I'm not concerned. The Roosters should be concerned about their front row depth though, as should Brisbane.
