i don't see this as an issue however as it is nowadays quite rare (kennedy at the roosters being the only time that comes to mind and that was because he was playing quite injured) and lacked support from his outside men.
if they want to out-score QLD they need Robbie. if they want someone who gives away crucial penalties and then runs away from a fight (the media calls this 'tough') then they will pick Ennis.
Which is better, Robbie "being pushed back in one-on-one tackles" or Ennis missing heaps of tackles and getting high tackle counts by being third player in and flopping?
The funny part about that is , ennis doesnt even generally get high tackle counts. he usually misses about 5 or more and makes about 25 or less, even being the third man in. pretty bloody average for a first grade ..sorry.. "origin" hooker.
@hybrid_tiger said:I still think Stuart will pick Farah, if Pierce is picked at halfback. They have a good combination. I think Young will be on the bench as an option for hooker, but more as a backrower.
It was clear from watching the City-Country match that Farah was playing just how Stuart wanted. Nothing flash, just good service out of dummy half, the occasional run, and most importantly he was heavily involved in all City's attacks. He got players' player and Fittler praised him after the match, as did Stuart.
I also think Farah has a tendency to overplay his hand, but he showed no signs of this on Friday. This is what will get him picked.
