Why would you join Wests Tigers?

if you were a player, a coach, adminstrator, sponsor, worker etc. why would you want to join the WT?

what is it that is different about us from the other 15 NRL teams?

is it the fan base, the style of play, great youth, the fact that our juniors come from campbelltown to ryde?

answering this objectively without bias might be hard for most of us but im genuinely interested in people's opinions here.

Looking at it without the black ,gold and white sunnies if I was an established player the Tigers wouldn't be that tempting to be honest

They'd want to be offering an extra 15-20% to be competitive

If I was a young fringe player it would be a club you would look at

You would create your own chances to make it at the top level However once you had become established you might want to look elsewhere if they offered market value

You don't have to perform and you still get picked! No seriously it has to come down to money.Apart from Canberra most clubs offer either city or beach lifestyles. We haven't got the best of anything but a great fan base certainly makes up for that.It all comes down to dollar$ at the end of it( Canberra the exception)

at present you wouldn't want to but that is about to change with the new board we will power a head. think positive with the juniors we have mayer potter maybe we get a new coach it all up 😛ray: 😛ray: :sign: maybe I am :crazy

If you're a Taupau-style player looking for a permanent spot, there's plenty of appeal. Cameron Smith, not so much.

If you like surprises…Wests Tigers are for you.

Who's your coach next year?

Who are the board members that make the hard decisions?

I'd join cause of the jerseys.

I think wests have one of the best playing kit running about this year.

That's about it.

I thought our website was quite popular, good interaction on social media and our games always rate well on free to air. Include a young roster with potential we have plenty to offer.

… Because my manager says that the Wests Tigers have agreed to my terms.

1\. An 80% chance of a long holiday during the off season.
2\. Annual holiday camp in scenic Kiama.
3\. A good chance of a job after footy, subject to your successful completion of a two week Tafe course.

id join them if they let me play just one game! didn't the wallabies do that for gordon bray in some meaningless tour match in Europe? it was like a "Rudy" type thing…

but seriously, folks, if i were a player i would like the chance to get in early on the opportunity to play for a club i believe will be a legitimate contender in coming years and for a good while. i don't see the tigers as a basket-case club at all: i think they are doing all the right things to build a great foundation for a very bright future.

Playing at Leichardt & the juniors coming through are about the only thing.

The grounds we play at would be as influential as the jerseys we wear, especially when we play there few and far between.

I'd say money, and players who are struggling to get a starting spot elsewhere and see us as their opportunity to crack it. Least we haven't gone through the embarrassment of getting turned down by half the players on the open market like the Raiders and Parra last yr though. I think if we had a war chest we wouldn't have trouble signing players. We'd probably have to pay overs but we'd get them.
