Will some of our big signings be better in 2019/2020?

Im talking about the likes of Lolihea, Reynolds, Packer, Matalino, Macqueen ?!

We have invested a fair bit of money in these players.

Reynolds body is failing him - hammies and calves can ruin a halfs confidence. Look at Foran. Packer and Ben are not giving us any real mongrel at the minute. Both have played a lot of football. Macqueen and Lolihea are playing reserves. ET looks punch drunk and is offering nothing.

I'm not that confident in any of them at the moment going forward. They are all either banged up or playing average footy. I know today was a one off at least this season but we lack class across the park.

We need to either recruit young blokes or signs 1 or 2 marquee players. No more journeyman or guys just filling in like Rochow. Easier said then done. But I think this was a risky rebuilt in many ways.

I understand that we needed to toughen the place up for a year or two. However the multi year deals for some of these players has me worried for the next couple of years.

Maybe all we need is to recruit 1 or 2 really class player (Like a Cleary and Tapau) However this squad is going backwards at a rate of knots and its no real surprise to me. These same players struggled last season for the most part at their previous clubs.

Apaer from Mbye I cant see anyone of quality coming to camp concord in 2019\. We don’t even have a crop of juniors coming through at the moment to give us hope.

It's pretty scary to think about isn't it, I can't see any of them being better, in fact I can see them being worse.

Rochow, Eiso, MWZ, Killa, Chee, just haven't got it, maybe you can get by carrying 2 of them but having them all at once is not good.

I think we need to concentrate on, and get a settled spine, a couple of robust backrowers, a couple of props, and at least one speedy, tall winger. But where do all these players come from?

Reynolds and Liddle questionable due to continued injuries, Marshall fading, Brookes who knows but I think we have to make a call by seasons end and decide. If we do get Farah back there is the possibility of getting one further season off him to back up Liddle.

I think we are getting there but the so so players will need regular replacement with better players when there contracts expire. Where do we look to? ESL?

No they won't. They are all at the back end of their career and do not have the hunger anymore, are battling long terms injuries.

We will get to watch them slowly decline over the next 3-4 years we have them locked in for.
