Guys as a merger this team has made the finals 3 times in 18 years . (As a tigers fan it’s 28 years combined) and 2010 was the only year we were consistent through the entire year staying in the 4.

So excuse some of us fans being negative on here. Imagine having the same job for 18 years and most of it is misery with the same thing every year will you say every year “of this will be the year things will get better”

Mate I know some of us get dissheartened at times but bloody hell call beyond blue if things are really getting to you..I have seen the best and the worst over about 40 years of following the Tigers( Balmain and WTs) and I realise that eventually things change, this year it could be a great year for us or a bad one…who really cares as long as they have a decent go and believe in themselves and the coach...I know I have faith in all of them..hoping that this is the year of a completely new winning era for us...

Need a tissue…?

No I don’t need a friggin tissue what is it with rugby league fans with their obsession with crying and tissues ?? It’s boring and immature

What I need is anger management over the years with this team and COR on call.

I dont know why those that don't believe in our team and are so negative before our season even starts still follow the Tigers
Why put yourself through that pain
There are 15 other club's to follow
Maybe it's because deep down you do hold some hope and belief that we will do well this year
I do
Try showing some support before sinking the boot in
Imagine going to work every day only to be told your a loser and hopeless
It wouldn't set a good environment
I want our players to do well and will try to encourage them as we all should

Go boys
Do your best and give them heaps

Mate, seriously. Give it a rest.

Why? The naysayers aren't giving it a rest.

They’re giving their honest opinions. Disagree if you like, but you cannot tell someone they can’t voice their opinion.

If we were a consistent top 8 team every year and were complaining then I would understand everyone going off at our nay sayers, but the knights have saved us from a spoon the last few years that’s the bottom line and this team hasn’t made the semis in 7 years.

Just because we are realistic and go by actual facts and stats doesn’t make us “real fans” and it doesn’t mean just because we don’t say “tigers will win every week and win the grand final” doesn’t mean we should support another team.

Because guess what ? I care if I didn’t bloody care I wouldn’t be angry and passionate or even bother posting about how we suck or how good we are. But if saying the tigers are gonna win every week makes you a bigger fan then someone then says we will get flogged then good for you.

Getting back to the question…...I think it will be close. The Tigers need to play a tough, physical game with smothering defense and forward oriented, mistake free attack. However, the Rorters class with come through with one of their game breakers providing the difference. 22-16 to the tricolours.

But you just did- 2 posts ago. There it is - telling him to give it a rest. Be consistent mate!!!

I could understand the negativity if, by the half way point of this competition, we were going terribly but none of us has even seen this team play in a real comp as yet. Whatever has happened in the past means nothing since this is an almost completely new team, so how about we give them a bit of clear air on the forum, at least until we know how they will perform with all the new players. Even the last year we were going OK at the back end of the season, so there has to be some hope with the new recruits playing.

Telling someone to stop telling other people they can’t have an opinion is not the same thing.

I have a good feeling about this one… dont know why, havent been too positive all week, just wanted a good showing, but woke up today with that gut feeling that we will get the biscuits.
