Will the score be close

We are in for a massive struggle from the kick off to the end. Even with a strong defence, with no speed and very little attack and a poor kicking game we are in for a very long afternoon. Please rub my nose in it if I am wrong, but I think it will be about 32 to 4…to the chooks

It be nice to get the auto flogging to the roosters out of the way week 1

Do our usual let in 2 try’s before halftime then right after halftime that be 24 points in 10 mins after the score is 10-6 roosters so
Be 34-6 after 50 mins then we will be praying for the siren

I would imagine Ivan picked our backs not only on ability but also fitness levels
I don't think we will fade at the back end of games like we have in the past
We may well get beaten but it won't be a push over anymore
Roosters will have to earn it
Ivan will have our players playing for the full eighty minutes
Tigers to score the last try
Roosters by 4

In a word, "No". We will get hammered this weekend. Then the justification around some of our signings having limited trial minutes wii start. After about round 3 the excuses will wear thin, and depth will be the subject as we replace half this week's side.

Nothing like getting on the bus! I’m not sure we will win Saturday but I’m 100% positive that we will compete strongly for 80 minutes. I’m also 100% positive we are heading into a great era for our club. Go to the web site and listen to the evidence of improvement in our club from Pascoe and Go. We mightn’t be world beaters in the next 2 months but we will get there - just need some supporters to jump on board and support those charged with the responsibility of moving us forward

I have supported wests for more than 30 years through thick and thin. I will be there tomorrow hoping for the best.
Go and Pascoe were saying that we would be a top 4 side under JT last year. I don't want more fluff and a better media department, I want results.
We have finally cast off cap shackles to sign people on long term contracts who supporters are now suggesting need reinforcements. Our junior aged based teams are terrible.
People suggesting that the genius of Ivan Cleary (a non premiership winner with below 50% strike rate) will save us are delusional.
Pascoe seems to have brought the Penrith 5 year plan with him, without a COE or other long term measurable outcomes.
I am glad that membership and sponsorship is up, but the best way to get an immediate spike in both is winning.

Mate me too. I’ve been a tiger for 45 years - I remember the day I became a supporter as a kid. So I’ve been there with you in the past- all of it. And I’ll be there with you tomorrow shouting like crazy. We are together mate - just want to see us all get behind our current group. There’s no other way!

? I am hoping for the best, but fear the worst.

I do not like the fact that we are potentially carrying underdone players into the game when fringe players excelled against the cowboys. Twal has been picked in front of Felise and Grant. Marshall has been picked. I can understand ET, but others would be coming back via ISP (like McQueen) if I was in charge.

I dont know why those that don't believe in our team and are so negative before our season even starts still follow the Tigers
Why put yourself through that pain
There are 15 other club's to follow
Maybe it's because deep down you do hold some hope and belief that we will do well this year
I do
Try showing some support before sinking the boot in
Imagine going to work every day only to be told your a loser and hopeless
It wouldn't set a good environment
I want our players to do well and will try to encourage them as we all should

Go boys
Do your best and give them heaps

Yeah I agree - grant played well in trial against sharks - strong carries. Marshall is a risk but I think Cleary is thinking that he will lift the team. They’ll be a big crowd that will go crazy when he moves to the sideline. His presence alone could lift the team. Felise is unlucky but last years form and tackle dominance has got Twal his position.

Just watched the knights win. Pearce basically said it was their togetherness that got them home. We need to get to ANZ tomorrow and support the Tigers like the Knights supporters did tonight. We can win tomorrow!

Guys as a merger this team has made the finals 3 times in 18 years . (As a tigers fan it’s 28 years combined) and 2010 was the only year we were consistent through the entire year staying in the 4.

So excuse some of us fans being negative on here. Imagine having the same job for 18 years and most of it is misery with the same thing every year will you say every year “of this will be the year things will get better”
