Wests Tigers are 90% run by Western Suburbs Magpies people. Why should they be run predominantly by Western Suburbs Magpies people and not Wests Tigers people? I understand having the club run by a mix of Balmain and Magpies in its initial years but it’s been 25 years now. Just because they have 90% control doesn’t mean it should be that way.

It's as simple as this, what's good for the Magpies isn't necessary the best thing for Wests Tigers.

Said earlier today the board should consist of,
4 independents
3 wests tigers
1 magpies
1 balmain
That would be in the best interest of Wests Tigers but it would never happen unless HBG are dealt with.

No-one was sacking Marshall. He had a contract for two more years. Two weeks ago there wasn’t any need to even talk about his contract.

The extension happened BECAUSE of the HBG power play.

We all hope (and some of us pray) that Benji is unbelievably successful. So far he has show some really promising signs. If he is successful then logically you extend him. If he’s not, you don’t.

Instead… we extend him and get nothing that we didn’t already have two weeks ago.

Also…. Even Benji said he didn’t think he had earned it yet

Out of curiosity does anyone think the likes of Epifania and Fallah have the right to be angry?
I don’t hold any grudges against anyone who attended or supported today’s protest, but surely at least some of Fallah’s comments make you understand why somebody like him would be angry ?
Can anyone blame them if they decide to cut the funding for Balmain because they feel disrespected ?
If that happens and there is no Balmain Harold Matthews or SG Ball teams it would be a very sad day and a big blow to Wests Tigers pathways.

Complex issue:

Fallah: Wests have done so much for Balmain, we’ve earned respect.

Rally’ers: We’re not Balmain, we want a strong WT.

It’s two sides on different pages completely.

Yes but things such as the money being spent to keep the Balmain junior reps alive is something that is not being considered.

Everyone is angry.The HBG board including the privileged debenture holders must take some responsibility for the reaction by the fans because they instigated it.
Fallah can't get all hot and bothered by a peaceful rally by concerned fans when it was the actions of those with privilege - his colleagues - who created the shit show that no one can understand or saw coming.
There would have been no rally if not for their actions. And his reaction to it demonstrated without fear or doubt where his allegiance lies first and foremost.

He sounds like that "i played first grade.. youre just a fan...what would you know" bloke.

He can be angry if he wants...i think.its more jealousy than anything but thats just a guess...be angry as hell but as a so called professional director of a semi pro footy club...act a bit more professional...throwing the toys out on fb is embarrassing .

Btw they were playing cricket on the hallowed turf where the blood was spilt...we were on an old unused bowling green at the bowlo

I don’t agree with the part suggesting you had no right to be on the old unused Pratten Park Bowling Club space, but when having a mindset that everybody involved at HBG cos an incompetent idiot, it is absolutely disrespecting former players such as Epifania, Lubinskas and Fallah.
What happens if these actions if continued cause them tn stop their funding of the Balmain junior reps, tgat would not be good, but who could blame them ?
Maybe Darcy should start working on a plan to start funding them.

This is an odd argument, the Balmain junior league had nothing to do with the rally today.

Are you saying that the HBG would stop funding the junior league out of spite because Wests Tigers fans had a rally?
