Easy on the insults there newbie or you might not be around very long. No one is calling him a 'saviour', but its clear, considering how badly we were bashed that we need something considering Galloway will be out for another few weeks. He'll definitley add more then Groat atm as it looks like Groat has a long way to go

Hmmm. Not sure how I feel about the prospect of Wilie becoming a Tiger. I would hate for this to be a knee jerk reaction to our bad start to the season.

Not the case at all. It's no secret that we have been in talks with Mason since Nov last year.

I'm not a fan of Mason either but we need an intimidating and aggressive forward in our team.
 
It is amazing how a lot of people have changed there mind about big Willie…. Well if any coach or team can change people around is Tim and the tigers.....

I can only think what is going though willies head, but given the chance to play in the nrl and showing all the non believers up maybe and hopefully is what he needs.

I would welcome him and I have faith in my club to make the right decision on signing him or not.....

IF Mason is to sign this week, do you fast track him into the side for the Raiders match?

Or bring him in at the Souths game, giving him a week to learn the his role and the structures of our team?

Love him or hate him Mason knows how to run hard and straight, 20 - 30 minutes of that off the bench will do more good than harm IMO.
Besides he has a point to prove, let him rip in!

I am not a Mason fan but given our lack of experience and depth in the front row I would sign Mason for one year on match payments only.

Groat at this stage of his career should come off the bench only.
 
Be interesting to see what happens through all of this.

Either way it won't effect our lineup against the Raiders.

Side Note: I have finally worked out who Fifita reminds me of. Jarrod Hickey from the Bulldogs. Massive, skillfull, runs sideways, gets smashed in the centre

All the players you mentioned now "signed at the moment because they can still play " got "chopped " by other teams too.
PS . Guess who else is also "signed at the moment because they can still play"?
PPS. No - one is calling him the messiah - just saying we could use a hulking big experienced forward at the moment.
