Fulton would struggle to get a bench spot in most teams he is over rated by many on here

Fulton would be very handy in a team that goes forward.

Here, we rely on him for go forward, using him as a battling ram up the middle where he is simply too small.

Exactly right he is a good utility player but needs a good platform to ply his best work

I'm sure I saw Mason tweet the other day that he was paid out 500 000 euros, unless he's taking the p*** and/or I'm missing something. If he's serious about a return to league he could get away with playing for next to nothing this year after receiving that sort of coin.

I don't think Willie is short of a coin, but the NRL wont register a contract that doesn't meet minimum payments.

Second tier contracts Only have minimum match payments.

Is his pride possibly getting in the way for him to sign a second tier contract 99 ??

lets hope our club pulls its finger out and sign him up , get him to training with the team , get ready ,big red is back but foot and ankle injuies can come back very quickly , i hope it doesnt but , if he signs with another club ( n/castle ,im told are keen , we could have missed a good option as back up , also he will have a point to prove with not getting picked up yet , so he could be very good for us ,

Lara Pitt said that big willie's manager was in talks with a nrl club again, when Marty johns asked was it the tigers, she said he didn't mention which club he was in talks with.Geyer then said,we had problems trying to sign cashmere & suggested it's parra or us.for whatever reason,I think we would of already signed him if we we're going to sign him.Would be a massive back flip by Humpty

if we loose this friday , humpty will need to do more than a back flip , he will need to try and stop the door hitting him on the way out , broncos will run straight and hard , ellis is a big blow and big red , well hope he can do his job and a bit off the others , a player with masons experience , we need it

Willie Willie will be will be.Humpty dumpty sat on a wall humpty dumpty had a great fall( Ellis injury) all of the injuries and all of Sheens men couldn't put humpty together again. Willie will sign him up now!!!

If Mason was signed, would he be of any immediate benefit to the team? Wouldn't it take him a while to get up to the required fitness levels plus he would have to learn how the team plays, he would also have to 'fit in' with the other players. I'm not suggesting the club shouldn't sing him, at the right price, but I don't think he is a magic bullet for the teams current situation. It will take time if he is to be part of the teams improvement.

"WESTS Tigers fans should not lose hope of club officials having a change of heart over Willie Mason.

Insiders have told us that coach Tim Sheens - who originally approached Mason - is not impressed with the front office decision to overrule him.

We can appreciate those sentiments, given Sheens will cop all the flak should his team continue to flounder with a front row that's clearly lacking size and experience. A couple more losses still could tip the scales back in the coach's favour, but we've heard a jittery major sponsor needs to be assured about Mason before the deal can be ratified.

Support for Mason to join Parramatta was also blooming among influential Eels officials - until last week's face-saving victory over Manly."

So who should cop the flak for letting Gibbs and Fifita go, Sheens or the front office?

So who should cop the flak for letting Gibbs and Fifita go, Sheens or the front office?

No one, they all close ranks behind bad decisions. They will say " No room under the salary cap ", or " we are taking the club in another direction "

With the Mason deal gaining a new lease of life, it will be interesting to see if the first discussions were amicable after the media said the deal was off last week. I think the big thing with Big Willie is getting him motivated, and when he is, he can devistate any opposition. He has played some blinders, but then some awful games, but the bad games seemed to coincide with the off field drama's, and the power play going on at the Bulldogs at the time.
Many reasons why he didn't fire at the Cowboys, plenty of big blokes can't take the climate up there, on and off the field. I thought he went OK at the Roosters but again, I think people like Politis interfere too much in the football side of things, and my mail was he wanted him out.

It has been stated on more than 1 occasion that we did want him but Shubert has knocked it back. We tried to get him under the cap and as i understand this is the only thing that is stopping us from Signing him.

LOL you guys are all going to regret it if Mason signs with us.. he ruined roosters players like Jake Friend with his imature attitude, and what is he now a dinasour who has nothing left?? I wish this could be put to bed and we don't sign this cancer.
