Willis Meehan

What are our thoughts about Willis Meehan? He seems like he on the same path as Matthew Lodge with both talent and trouble. He is a thug and to be honest our team needs a thug. Someone to stand up next to Marty Taupau if he is still with us and put players on their backsides. From the same production line of Kane Evans and Dylan Napa who would walk into our starting side. I'd want to see where his head is at but i would say yes. Plus he wouldn't be on much money.

Difference between him and lodge is he has put his hand up, taken responsibility and is changing the way he does things.

Definitely worth a chat to see where he is in his recovery.
Surely Taylor would have some kind of pulling power as they we're both at the roosters. Yes for me!

our club would not sign him , he is over 110kg and can play we only sign small lightweight forwards. marty was signed by mistake i guess.

I'm sure the Roosters will end up re-signing the kid, but if not he would add some valuable size to the Tigers pack. By all accounts he is turning his life around, maybe Lodge should have a chat to him!!

That's why Tapau is leaving the club? Phil Rothfield in his Sunday Telegraph column today suggests it is an internal club politics issue.

How can a qualified journo who openly supports an NRL club be seen as fair-minded when reporting on anything rugby league of another club?

He even under-reports Sharks infamous incidents.

He's a nuffie

I'd sign Meehan in a heartbeat. Mostly incentivised, but he would be a great addition for us no doubt. He seems to acknowledge his failings and trying to overcome them. Which is admirable and quite possible. Lodge on the other hand is just a moron with no brains whatsoever. There's little hope for someone with zero intelligence. Most props, even the thick ones, aren't as thick as him..!

I think his future is boxing, looked super sharp flogging a guy on the weekend.
Had a go at the ref for nor stopping it.

I wouldn't sign him, loads of talent, but does a lot run.
