The poor performances against lower teams earlier in the year may come back to haunt us
Also our points difference is know significantly worse than warriors and knights
We really can't afford to drop any games
Don't want to play storm in Melbourne first week of finals

Agree….......so either Silvertails @ SFS or Broncs @ Suncorp!!!

knights AND warriors have massive runs to the finals.

Knights have Warriors (A), Broncos (H), Bulldogs (A), Rabbitohs (H)
Warriors have Knights (H), Panthers (A), **Dragons (A), Cowboys (H)**

we don't.

Panthers, Eels, Titans, Sharks. 4 busteds in that bunch (seriously)

Knights and warriors play each other next week, so ONE of them will be left behind.

Best result for us would be a draw, and then we beat penrith, and cement 6th spot.

Don't read too much into it.

Four weeks ago there was a huge gap between the top 5 and the rest… now the top teams have dropped a few and suddenly the gap has closed.

After playing around with the ladder predictor it seems unlikely that the top 8 will change much even if we keep on winning, however what seems almost inevitable is a huge amount of positional changes happening in the final two weeks.

wow, three paragraphs all to come to this concluding statement: all the Wests Tigers have to do is WIN

There is **no** easy run to the finals. Any team is capable of beating another on any given day, but especially when they have nothing to lose. The so call 'busted' teams that are out of the finals race relax more and start playing good football - therein lies the danger.

It's an old cliche but the boys can only control their games. The main thing is just keep winning and make sure we make it to the semis before we worry about who will be playing and where.
An 8 game winning streak would be a nice little bit of momentum heading into the semi's no matter where we end up.

The unfortunate reality is with the latest couple of injuries we will drop one game at least because our attack will suffer.

Plus, maintaining the momentum for an 8 game winning streak would be exceptional. In past years WT have lost a game or two before the semis and still gone okay so that would seem likely.

On form I see the knights losing to
The warriors and broncos (2 loses) . And warriors losing only to the dragons (1 loss).

So of we win the next 4 we take 6th and play broncos .
We Lose one game we come 7th play manly , lose 2 come 8th play Melbourne .

Best option is 7th we will
Play manly at SFS and will be more like a Wests tigers home final as we know that those from The north side loath to cross the bridge .

** disclaimer , info based some loose assumptions , such as top 4 does not change from it's current make up **

so whats the deal with the home final's? are they just playing at Homebush and the SFS in Sydney and scrapping the suburban grounds?

Agree with this post. Our F/A are not too good, and Benji's kicking is off atm. I think our bad start to season, may come back to haunt us 😛ray: I hope not

yes, imagine if we had won the gold coast game, and beaten the doggies twice…

Underdog The Gold coast game was always going to turn around and bite us at some stage we have reached that stage we would be 6th and one win from equal 4th . But IFs never win a premiership

Yes that is the case.

And thank goodness, imagine the uproar when one of our suburban home ground missed out!

This really shows how much of a gulf there is between one half of the competition and the other. You could even argue the difference between the top five (despite St. Merge losing a few games lately, they're not a terrible side,) and the bottom three of the eight.
