With mckinnon and Lui here for the next 2 years....

I sure hope not. He is already under contract anyway and we need some depth in the halves (I hear Lazarus is going to Newtown/Roosters). I still think Moltzen should be the starting halfback. I haven't changed my opinion about that since the start of 2007.

contracts arent always set in stone though if both parties come to an agreement. i think moltz will be here next year though. i certainly hope so…

nope I don't think he'll be going anywhere, I have very little confidence in McKinnon's hamstring for starters, plus I think Sheens would prefer keeping both Lui and Moltzen as backups for each other in the halves. I'd personally still prefer Moltzen to be given the number 7 jumper, but Lui will more than likely keep improving as well.

I can't see Moltzen leaving, the Tigers have big wraps on him and will want to keep him beyond next season provided there are no further dramas with his knee. I reckon he'll be sweet in 2011 after a good off-season under Folkes.

Does anybody think tim moltzen may be heading off to greener pastures in 2011?

NO - have you heard of contracts??

Isn't that one of those things that SBW had??

Not that I think Moltz will do a SBW on us, but contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on these days (except the Storm contracts which are worth more than what is written on them).

Players get released mid contract all the time.

I would love to see 'em both being used in the halves. Lui to start off at 7 and then Moltz takes over from bench when we need that spark in attack. I must say Lui is too talented to be in the Reggies and ofcourse Moltzen is obviously too good to get rid off.

I would say Moltzen will stay with the Tiges beacuse there is that loyalty factor in him, but Lui is a bit "you noe" so just throw a bit of cash at him and he should be fine.

But if it comes down to this then: Moltz in, Lui out.

1- Mckinnon
7-Moltzen
13-Lui

We have a lot of depth in our 2nd rowers. Lui will not be needed in the backrow. Also, he had been criticised for being an ineffective tackler.

think u will find Moltz will be penciled in for the other Centre with Lawrence

Over the last few games, Ashyford has clearly outdone Lawrence IMO, would be hard to move him from right centre or Lawrence from left centre.

big harsh on lawrence isnt that.. he hasnt even played!

that is why he has outplayed him.. Lawrence wasnt there..

and Moltz has so much on Ashyford.. more attacking, more speed, more skills and would PARTNER Benji PERFECTLY.

Is this your opinion REXX…or does pencilled in mean that's the plan...

I prefer Moltzen at 7 partnering Benji but no doubt he will be in the team somewhere...

Moltzen will be in the mix come 2011 and like some others I see Sheens using him in the centres, that way he can keep Lui in the no7 role, but who knows??

As for 2012, that will depend on the Central Coast Bears getting a gig. His old man has a front office job with the Bears so you would expect him to head that way given they will make him their starting no6.

Lets wait he see how he goes after his knee reconstruction, they dont all make it back to the same level they were at prior to surgery
