think u will find Moltz will be penciled in for the other Centre with Lawrence

Over the last few games, Ashyford has clearly outdone Lawrence IMO, would be hard to move him from right centre or Lawrence from left centre.

big harsh on lawrence isnt that.. he hasnt even played!

LOOL, but I'm talking about times when Rowdy was actually playing. Lawrence is my favourite Tiger but due to the concussion and head injuries, Ashyford has outdone him IMO. But I wouldn't move Ashyford or Lawrence from their position ATM or maybe even next year.

and Moltz has so much on Ashyford.. more attacking, more speed, more skills and would PARTNER Benji PERFECTLY.

Is this your opinion REXX…or does pencilled in mean that's the plan...

I prefer Moltzen at 7 partnering Benji but no doubt he will be in the team somewhere...

its just my opinion
Havnt heard anything, but Lui seems to be settling in and changing it again next year would be crazy even if Moltz is imho a better half… and Moltz is very highly regarded by Sheens so there will be a position in the team.. and the only one that is going to be vacant in the backs is Centre. Every other position seems to be pretty secure.

In a hard graft game I just don't see Moltzen being able to handle the defence at centre. Tt would lead to a backrower essentially having to cover two halves on the same side of the defensive structure.

Will be interesting and we will have depth regardless

Moltzen's size is the only thing that worries me about him playing centre. Most centres these days are up around the 100kg mark and I don't think we'll ever see Moltzen play heavier than 90kg. Having said that, it will be interesting to see what Sheens does with him for next season as I can't see Moltzen or Lui getting dropped unless their form is terrible.

Sheens said very early on this year, or even in the off season, that he saw Lui as our long-term 7\. That's why he was pushing Moltz as fullback. TBH - i'm really not concerned about next year or the year after. I have one focus - Saturday night.

I absolutely agree. I think moltzens worst position would be centre. Unless he bulks up without losing any speed and learns to play a bit more physical, he just will not succeed in the centres. He's a 5/8, and IMO, he should move on elsewhere to get the chance to fulfill his potential. I'd hate to lose him, but i think he can be a rep player at 5/8, but he cant as a centre, halfback or fullback.

Wow!! thats a huge wrap and I kinda agree with you. But, I think the only option available for him at the Tigers is halfback with Benji already cementing his spot as five-eigth.

7\. Moltzen

17\. Lui

You are on the wrong medication. At 7 Lui cant tackle , he can rarely break the line or make a tackle bust and hardly ever has a good kick off the boot… We might as well keep Fitzy in the #17 Jersey if you think Lui should have it..

Everyone is looking at it the wrong way .. The only reason Lui has the 7 Jersey is we dont have any other option at the moment. If Molz was fit Lui wouldnt even make the train on squad.

We have Moors , Flannagan, Brown , Daniela , Fifita ,Dwyer who are all better options on the bench instead of Lui when Molz comes back in .
Why would Molzten leave knowing he his a better 7 ? He no longer will play FB unless Wade cant play there but then again we have Brown and Meaney if needed for that spot and good old Ryan too when Tank comes back in the team.

Unless Lui does something special this finals games he wont be able to retain his spot in 2011..

I don't like the idea of a back on the bench - I'd rather the utility be someone like Flanagan who can play in the forwards or centres if need be.

But I think it's fairly obvious Sheens likes to have a back on the bench. And if that's the way he wants to run the team then Lui is miles ahead of Fitzhenry.

Only in the halves.

FTR I hope Moltz stays, he IMO is our best option at halfback and gives the stability around the park we need.

Think some are harsh on Lui, the kid is 19/20, he could of played NYC this year, and he is the youngest halfback in the NRL. He has been alright for us, his defence has been ordinary but you can't expect him to be an allround top line half back straight out of the box.
