The Triple M call team spoke with Tigers captain Aaron Woods after a big week of headlines, and the skipper was certainly able to reassure fans that he's still on the Tigers bus for the moment.

The game looked like it was going to be a bit heated for the crowd with some Tigers fans booing Woods as he ran on for the warm up, following a report that Woods had met with several Bulldogs players amid a rumoured move to Canterbury next year.

However, Woods was not at all bothered by it.

"It's a part of footy. The thing is that I haven't signed or agreed to anything. It's all speculation," Woodsy said.

"We've got the best fans, they're just passionate."

On the actual meeting, Woods said it was blown drastically out of proportion, with a solid reason for the coffee catch-up.

"Probably the timing wasn't perfect but it's just rubbish.

"Klemmer is one of my best mates and I was a groomsman at his wedding, and Grubby is a family friend of my wife.

"We have the best club and we've really stuck together. We had a few laughs and giggles about it. That's just footy."
