14 hit ups for 189m

36 tackles (2nd highest on either team)

These sort of stats are now commonplace for Aaron, what more must he do to demand Blues selection?

Let's pray his knee injury isn't too serious because without him, we are not only up shit creek without a paddle but our raft is sinking in crocodile infested waters.

He just keeps churning it out week after week. If they can find a place for Gidley in the Aus team they can sure as hell find a place for the Woodsman in the Blues team.

The thing I find interesting about Woods' game is the way he goes about it in what appears to be an effortless, unphased manner, I know he is playing to his best and trying hard, but he makes it look matter of fact, a tremendous prop forward.

This guy is unbelievable loves the way he attracts so many defenders and is still able to offload that ball , he is a certainty to play for the blues if not i'm 1 bad judge .

The thing that amazes me about this kid is that often when he receives the ball, he's almost standing still, but still manages to make 10 to 20 metres with 3 defenders battling to hold him. He must be incredibly strong. Just a great young prop.

I just wish some of our other guys had the ticker he does. He's shaping as one of those generational players for us. As good as they come. He never shirks his load in defense or attack. He does the 1%'s. We don't have enough guys with that attitude. That's all it is, attitude, desire, commitment.

Great player and getting pretty close to being a complete prop forward. Great metres, solid defence and he is ball playing out there as well.

yeah, he makes it look easy….in that regard he reminds me a lot of young sirro....theyre so comfotable and at home at such an early stage...both having seamless steps up to the top grade

Makes you wonder why he isn't rubbing off on some of these guys. Extremely mediocre players who show no interest, passion or heart into the game cannot even blink an eye when a younger bloke gives it his all.

just a pure machine out there, that can also read the game.always puts his hand up for extra work when a set has gone off the boil.

I've noticed this also. He doesn't seem to hit the line with any great gusto, he isn't particularly muscular and he runs very upright with a seemingly high centre of gravity which flies in the face of conventional wisdom, but he is so effective anyway. I'm consistently amazed and impressed at how many metres and tackles he makes each week.

He's greatest attribute is that he is hard to put down, and his running style thwarts opponents from taking his legs. Watch how many times yesterday Woods takes two defenders up high, then adjusts his weight to keep on his feet.

He's got a great knack of backing through tackles as well, carrying defenders.

Cannot ask any more of the kid than his consistent produce last 15 months.

I'd love to know how many meters he makes carrying two or three blokes along with him. He is bloody fantastic.

If he was playing for the raiders he'd be a shoe in…........but Daley, being Daley does dumb things so he's selection for NSW isn't guaranteed.

The big thing is he never gives up

He is not being affected by the plight of our side and two youngest fellas in our side (Woods and Buchanan) are leading the way

A few others need to show the same enthusiasm that these two men show every week

I agree with all the plaudits given to Woods here.

However I am concerned at the size of the workload he is carrying. No doubt he is doing all this willingly, but he needs help and with Gall out I don't know where it will come from and injuries will become a risk.

Like quickly happened to Koro I do not want to see other players use him up when they themselves should be digging deeper.

I was worried last year, but he doesn't ever lag in games and such, i think he is suited to playing big minutes with a huge work rate, it doesn't seem to wear him down at all.
