WOODS

By everything JT has said this year about injuries, if there's is an incling of doubt, I doubt he'll risk playing anyone injured, little alone one of our work horse rep players. I like this approach, especially when it's this early in the season.

Farah was being interviewed on the BSB radio show this morning…and all but confirmed Woods will miss Fridays game…but should be right for the following week against Parra.

That being the case JT will probs would move Tapau to prop and start with Halatau at lock.

Hopefully start with Ava at prop and leave Taupau where he is thanks

That old saying is so true , you can never have enough props

Taylor has said from day 1 , no one plays unless they are 100 % fit

Very few of the players will be 100% fit. There's always niggles etc. I took it to mean no-one plays unless they're 90-95% fit. In previous years we've probably had players at 70% fitness playing games and that's just stupid.

Also the mods should re-name this thread, as its pure speculation until any confirmation is received either way. Just a ? in the title will do…

Sorry should of worded it better

100% recovered from the injury , you will always have some bumps and bruises you carry into games

Happy,I dont think Woods will play to be honest, there is no gain by trying to be fit to play by Friday if he has to spend all week in rehab to be ready, and still may not play …rest him and treat his injury and then bring him back the following week..we will have to make do with what we have got rather than risk injuring the great prop further...its early days yet and there is more to work on than Woods injury ,the halves need to work on last play options and some attacking flair first...only my opinion though ...

Yeah I say they will probably rest him as well , but I think they will give him every chance to be fit to play if he can

One comment, and one person hears :
"all but confirmed out"
another hears "Very confident of playing".

Someone's telling Fib's

I dont think so….its just interesting how different people can interpret the same thing oh so very differently....but yeh Id like to listen too and make my own mind up.

Q. ."..and hows Aaron Woods' knee mate?"

A. "Hes pretty confident he'll be right, he might miss a game…were not too sure yet because of the short turnaround."

They were both right.

Should follow the Chinese proverb: believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.

It's not really hard to interpret this interview
Basically Woods is confident he will be right for Friday night's game , but obviously he will have to pass a fitness test maybe on Friday morning .
But if he misses the Bulldogs game he definitely be right for the Eels clash the week after.
