@Yossarian said:So you're disappointed that after an Origin match on Wednesday night he wasn't at his best two nights later? In any case NRL stats tells me he ran for 123m and made 31 tackles in a team that was thrashed.
Fair dinkum some of you guys…

@LCA said:Hmmm…this is a massive question for the club, I think. I share some misgivings about his mindset and perceived arrogance. My gut feeling is that he is on a similar trajectory to Benji, That is, a huge talent but as much a liability as an asset. Yes, he may be a media favourite and a "superstar" in the eyes of those who don't play with him or follow him on a weekly basis.
But...seriously...is he positioned somewhere on the autism spectrum? That is not to disparage or denigrate those who are, but I think it would help a lot of us understand him better if we knew.
If he's not, then someone needs to drag him aside and tell him pretty quickly that his body language, antics on the field, presentation and communication skills are often unhelpful in building cohesion, consistency and in a team sport.
Undoubtedly he's a talent but ...sigh......just not sure about him.
