Woods is one of my favourites. I love the guy. But is it me or SOO 3 then again against Manly he ran the ball like a powder puff?

I think it must be you. He is clearly one of the best props in the game and he now owns that position for NSW, for as long as he likes.

I love the guy. I hope he's a Wests Tiger for life but….....................I cringe whenever he speaks. I guess he is only 23 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth: His ability at that age is amazing

So you're disappointed that after an Origin match on Wednesday night he wasn't at his best two nights later? In any case NRL stats tells me he ran for 123m and made 31 tackles in a team that was thrashed.

Fair dinkum some of you guys…

Did well to back up after one nights sleep as no doubt Wednesday night there would have been very little. Still had a terrific game.

I do agree that I have noticed an attitude shift in him that's a little bit … concerning. Flipping off crowds isn't really something I feel comfortable with my favourite player doing. There are kids in the crowd... On the other hand is confidence and positive nature has an effect on teammates.

Give the finger to the opposition by all means but doing it to the crowd is biting the hand that feeds you and reeks of arrogance.

Hmmm…this is a massive question for the club, I think. I share some misgivings about his mindset and perceived arrogance. My gut feeling is that he is on a similar trajectory to Benji, That is, a huge talent but as much a liability as an asset. Yes, he may be a media favourite and a "superstar" in the eyes of those who don't play with him or follow him on a weekly basis.

But...seriously...is he positioned somewhere on the autism spectrum? That is not to disparage or denigrate those who are, but I think it would help a lot of us understand him better if we knew.

If he's not, then someone needs to drag him aside and tell him pretty quickly that his body language, antics on the field, presentation and communication skills are often unhelpful in building cohesion, consistency and in a team sport.

Undoubtedly he's a talent but ...sigh......just not sure about him.

Are you guys being serious?

I agree the above posts are just ridiculous !
Woods is 23 years old , just won an origin series , he's having the time of his life playing the game he loves .. Who gives a shit if he gave the bird to the Queenslanders ! Good on him I reckon !
And comparing him to having an ego & arrogance like benji is just ridiculous !

I just want to know what is that thing he wears on his head and why ,what does it look like when it moves . :astonished:

I actually cannot believe what I just read here . For a "supporter" to dig as to refer to someone on the "autism spectrum" who we are all well aware is not is truly tragic !
How dare you refer to ones state in such a manner
This forum is sickening at times . One week you are as proud as punch of Woods and Farah representing the state and West Tigers as a team for NSW and the next week you will shoot them down without skipping a heartbeat !
This happens continually to several players . You watch next week you will be praising him to the heavens above and forget all that was said in this rubbish feed .
Have a good look at yourself so called "supporters" jealously is a curse .

People often wait for something bad to happen and then crucify.

I'm worried that many here have the same gut feeling that I did since origin 2\. Hopefully were on wrong though.

Woods is a very good player and very likeable.
But his finger gesture aimed at the Queensland fans was not a good look. It shows immaturity, lack of class and bad sportsmanship. I strongly hope that the club or ( Robbie) has talked to him about this and hope that its never repeated.

This political correct rubbish.

We complain when players don't show passion for their team… And when someone does you want to string them up for showing some emotion.

Suit yourself guys.
