Yeah I was sitting on the floor at the in laws place today playing with the one year old birthday girl with my kids talking to the sister in law who is 37 weeks pregnant

When Chernobyl was having it's little bonfire about 1986 I was in the Philippines and the radiation spread to that country. We were advised to wash our hair very well a few times a day, let the water wash over for a long time - but at that time water only dripped if we were lucky so no chance.

We will always be on a war footing while a few countries with the bigger bombs tell smaller countries they cant have them. The only UN Resolution should be the disarmament of ALL nuclear weapons from ALL countries.

Only then can it be fair and united!

I have no doubt that countries will keep them while they tell the UN nuclear body they've disposed of them.

Got enough Uranium to power the world for aeons and reduce power generation carbon emissions to zero but we seem more interested in using it to kill each other.

Something similar to that has been UN resolution for about 50 years, only it has not been pushed through with. It is called the NNPT Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. No other country was supposed to get nukes whilst USA disarmed - neither occurred.

I understand supporting the allies but if a war does break out, we will be sending troops overseas and I have no doubt we'll be targeted.

Beach time near Koh Samed in Thailand, so have heard nothing of this until seeing this thread, though not surprised something has escalated.

The country and people of Syria have been absolutely devastated for years by their externally supported internal struggle that is made worse by the presence of a force in ISIS that our country was complicit in creating.

Meanwhile in the west and other involved countries, fortunes are being made supplying arms to fuel the conflict whilst their politicians stand idly by and also allow trading partners to directly finance the factions.

Elaborate, go ahead. Explain why the white helmets were treating the 'victims' of the chemical attack. Also explain why they weren't wearing protective equipment, yeah sure im going to go and treat someone after a chemical attack in normal clothing. Also, explain why Assad would want to attack people who have no effect what so ever on anything in the state. While you are at it, you can also explain how America was able to react so quickly, i'm sure they care enough about Syrian people to invest upwards of 60 million dollars in air strikes to take down Assad.

If you can not see this is an attempt by America to invade Syria then you have rocks for brains. Saudi Arabia and America want pipes to run under Syria, right next to where America attacked. Syria has refused and has now been targetted.

America is the reason behind the growth of ISIS, they stemmed of Al Qaeda and rebelled against the Syrian government. America saw this as an opportunity and capitalised by funding them, not knowing that it would bite them in the backside.

Or did it? If America really wanted to take down ISIS they could have years ago.
