World's best beer

I like the sound of that one ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ champion @Trevros.

But stuck with what the locals have:

Its the best Kölsch I've tasted and I make a point of getting a carton of it every Christmas. This time around I also got a carton of Radeberger as well and I wasn't expecting it to be the best Pils I've had a sip or two of. Mind the pic I've gotta get a decent Pils glass.

Best beer in the world?

Probably one I've had at one of the pub breweries popping up, can't beat fresh draught beer.

However for packaged beer I'd have to go with good old Bathurst Lager or Tennants though I love the odd Melbourne Bitter on a hot day.

The worst?

Hard to choose between Tooheys New & Budweiser........both a headache in a bottle for me.

I can drink VB, XXXX, Great Northern, Coopers, Grolsch, Bingtan, Tiger, Tennants, Sheaf Stout (though I'm not usually a black beer fan) nearly any other beer.....even mead without a migraine.

However I'd much rather a few Maker's Marks or either of Black or White Russians.

You're drinking it out of the correct glass!! Nice one.

Koln is where the friendliest Germans live. You drink Kolsch out of these teenie tiny glasses in a bar and they keep a tally on a beer coaster of how many you've drunk. Best ever! You never leave your seat in a good Koln bar and its quite acceptable to be toatally sh1tfaced. Very different to Bavaria.

Radleberger makes you fart too much. For me that is like seeing a German expat in Australia praise toohey's extra dry. But im glad you like it.

If you can, try and track down beer from a Brewery called Störtebekker, and go with their Pilsner or their Atlantik Ale. Both Extraordinary.

Best Pilsner in Europe is Czech beer unpasteurized. In Prague you can get it straight from the breweries, Tankbier. Mindblowingly good beer.

You miss Aussie craft beer living in Germany. And cold normal aussie beer.

Reading this champion @TIGERS, I feel like I've just spent a weekend on the turps in all the best European places .... 😉

My best mate in Berlin is a massive Knights fan. (His feedback for us this weekend is that Tristan Hope can never play first grade again )

We are taking our European partners to France in summer so we can watch rugby league while they're at a vineyard somewhere. (Catalans Dragons). French Rivera feat Toby Sexton and Aidan Sezer LOL.

Ya recko

This is also a really underrated Czech beer. Crisp and tasty.
Ya Reckon?
It's the equivalent of Resches Real over there!!
Give me a Gambrinus 12 at a good temp any day....

Although Budvar is impossible to beat.
