Would we really be the worse off without Robbie??

I think the negative posts in here about Robbie are confusing "taking too much control" with "nobody else will step up". It's like SOO… I am guessing Robbie would love to have a Thurston outside him to step up and organise, but instead he's got a Benji and a Pearce.

You can't make claims about egos, you don't even know the guy...

Sure he had a bad game last night, I was there. But we'd be more screwed without him.

Robbie is an out-and-out champion.

But can you seriously say that you aren't positive that he has a big ego?? :astonished: Wow.

It stands out like dog's plums.

Farrah is the man. I would hate to see the scorelines of some games if he wasn't there. How many games did Benji do nothing and so Farrah stepped in, heaps of them.

I don't think anybody is questioning how great of a player Farah is, just making an observation on how dominant of a role he seems to have and whether or not it is a good thing for our team.

A hooker has to have a dominant role. They get first think of every ball in attack and get involved in most of the tackling. A number 9 who didn't take the lead in a game would be a liability.

Yeah be he quite often takes the dominant roles of the 9 and 7\. He doesn't have a choice but he does. I think we all agree without him we would be so much further behind than we are, but he won't have to concentrate on be as dominant in attack as he is now once we get a proper halfback.

We can't become the next Penrith. Just look at a short list of some of the players they've let go…Fittler, Geyer, Lewis, Jennings, Michael Gordon.

You show me a footballer who you think doesn't have a big ego. It comes with the territory.

What I am saying is that unless you have known a player for more than a minute, your assumptions about their personality and its effect on the team is just that - pure theory.

Yes in response to a comment that we wouldnt win a game without Farah. I simply pointed out that was a silly comment since we had won two games this year without him.

Nothing will change until he is gone, Honestly he is a top player but I could not careless if he stays or goes. The only reason that I would want him to stay is for the club in general, Mayer and Potter would cop heaps of crap and our so called "fans" would stop supporting. Put it this way you either support the "Wests Tigers" or you support "The Robbie and Benji show".

Mate, you have no idea what you are talking about. If Farah is detrimental to the club, then I'm a monkey's uncle.

He is not detrimental to the club but he and Benji were the reason our halves did not work out, they don't believe in giving the ball to juniors, it is just recently Sironen started actually playing a halfback role.

Farah overplays his hand at times because the halves pairings for years have been obscure and without definition or direction, combination or communication….seniority and ego has played its hand too.

I read here so often people looking at the numbers on the jerseys and not whats unfolding on the field - whos playing which position.

I often wonder if the confusion shown here translates to onfield...this farce of Marshall constantly being named at 5/8 yet mainly playing half, along with whoevers in 7, robbie and any other number of players really needs to stop

We need players who's roles are clearly defined, Marshalls childish obsession with wearing 6 despite playing 7 hopefully when he's gone will help define everyones role and provide a clearer direction for everyone
