Credit to the Titans and Sharks, just pulled off a masterclass performance.

If that was a Grand Final it would nudge Cows and Broncos, was a 10/10 from both sides.

Great game of football!!!!
It had everything, very tough but also very entertaining. And 200 field goal attempts with 196 charge downs. Great stuff

Exciting games don't mean the quality is of the highest standard. Nothing comes close to last yrs grand final. Not really a great result for us. Hats off to the Titans though. They punch above their weight better than any side i can remember in recent memory.

Can't believe Ennis is retiring. Easily the best player on the field, absolute legend!

The refs treated the Sharks like kola bears. I thought the Chargers were the better side. My god the field goal kicking was average, but outside that was a great game. Hurrel was a great pick up for the chargers. We will have to improve 25% to have any chance against the coast out at Cambo in a few weeks

Pretty amazing game…

You had to go back to 2013 to find the last draw...We have had 2 this year...

Watch the way he plays Milky rarely picks the ball up from dummy half and passes it - usually takes two steps and the forwards go with him
When attacking the oppostions line will often run side ways from dummy half looking for a runner - ala Farah. If Farah does get a start at the Sharks his game will be the perfect fit. Just depends if they want to take he risk on a 32 year old with a point to prove.

How much of a goose is Fifitta, absolute moron this bloke, he needs to be knocked out

Great game of footy, Titans should have got the chocolates

After giving Luke Douglas a push to head following the try I was hoping the try would be disallowed and a penalty given to the Titans, unfortunately an incident has to happen in the lead up for this to happen.

X2\. Also add that it was a brutal encounter at times with neither side giving an inch.

They have had a million names….but I liked it when they were the Chargers...so to me they have always been the Gold Coast Chargers

The Chargers a defensively strong 1 thru 17\. Can not think of to many shirt grabers, they also have a big backline and both wingers are very good in the air. In Bird,James,McQueen and Peat they have some hard men. They are playing as good as anyone. As for the Sharks, well once again they are going to fall over at the final hurdle, they still lack something the Storm and the Cowboys have.

Sharks coach Flanagan joins golden point criticism

By Paul Zalunardo

Cronulla’s 15-game winning streak is over and Sharks coach Shane Flanagan would like to see the NRL’s golden point system go with it. After another golden point period in which many of the rules of the game seemed to be abandoned, Flanagan joined a growing chorus in calling for a re-think. ‘’It is an absolute lottery. They were all offside, we were offside, there were charge downs,’’ Flanagan said. ‘’Penalties should have been given. It is just a joke, golden point. You just throw all the rules out.’’

The unwillingness of referees to penalise players who are repeatedly offside and teams rucking the ball downfield with the sole purpose of getting into field goal position is a common sight in the extra-time periods. While it is widely accepted that some form of golden-point system is needed to find a winner during finals matches, calls for regular season matches that are tied after 80 minutes to be called a draw continue to gain support.

The New Zealand Warriors have had four golden-point matches in their last five games, winning just one.

I agree with Flanagan. I've always hated golden point. It's put on for the media. It's got nothing to do with an equitable outcome. A draw is a draw and both sides deserve to get a point out of it.

Also, the refs put their whistles in their pockets for the 10 minutes which means there are lots of charge downs.
