we all need to write a letter of complaint against corrupt refereeing against us to the nrl.
I don't know if they even look at it but let's just all do it.
we would have won that game today if the refereeing had been fair.
we have had enough lets all fight together as wests tigers.

Ok...you first

I must’ve been watching a different match. Thought the new referee did ok for smart timer.
Are your eyes painted on.
The media brought it up in the press conference that Benji refused to blame the referee.
We got penalised for everything but the opposition not. So called high shots. Suni not.
If it had been refereed fairly and not penalised for so called and then we have momentum.

How many incompetent referees are there with the nrl
You only have to watch a local league competition to realise its a problem within the job itself as nobody really wants to take it up
Or any sport for that matter
The league doesn’t do enough to get better candidates which imo needs to start at grassroots level

To be fair Ricky complained about the refereeing more than Benji did.

Mate we were not cheated out of victory.
I did not agree with the disruptor call and that’s a fair thing to whinge about, but fair dinkum, our spoiling tactics yesterday were very obvious and the ref acted accordingly.
The crowd were very upset and a number of times called for the bin. I’m surprised we didn’t cop one for all the holding and slowing the play the ball we did.

To write a letter complaining about corruption, I would need evidence of said corruption. I have an opinion, as does the referee who made the calls in the game. A difference of opinion is not corruption.
I suspect that things aren't quite right with some referees officiating some games but I have no evidence that there are corrupt practices at either, the week to week game level or at the overall seasonal NRL comp level. I'd love to see the evidence produced, if it exists, though.

There isn’t corruption.
There is incompetence though and the video ref remains an absolute blight on the game. They actively look to find reasons not to give a try which ruins the spectacle and fan experience at the ground.
We piss the bunker off and the refs will lift their game. Most use it as a crutch currently and are likely going against best judgement.

I said in the live thread we are sailing close to the wind and needed to be careful or wed cop a binning.
This reminded me of us in previous seasons where we couldnt competen in the ruck and would try to slow it down....while also yesterday testing and pressuring a rookie ref.
Hunts two dumb penalties one after the other and made things seem worse imo but jesus wherever this ref has been recently theyve been using the nrl rules volume II published 2018 by the looks of it...disruptor was a tough call.
I like benjis presser reaction...yesterday of all wasnt the time to have a gripe...bottom 8 teams are irrelevant now they will take his call thru the week and do sfa
