The way this thread is heading id say it will be looked very soon, but i'm sure you'll log back in the next time one of these threads pops up
Anyway, to keep this thread on some kind of track, WTFL posted earlier was a good example of how there are dinosaurs on both sides of the fence, not just one that is often reported. As i said earlier regardless of what happens with Balmain WT's will not being going anywhere and the Magpies will not be returning, nor will any attempts be made
Just so sad after 13 yrs this crap is still as strong as ever. We as a supporter base haven't moved on an inch. Still so much intolerance from fossils on both sides

:sign: Wow 13 years on and still all this.Must admit I can't stant it when so called supporters can't travel to grounds cause they can't get over things really gets up my skin News flash Balmain Tigers and West Magpies ceased to exist at the end of 1999 dosent mean you can't preserve the memories and talk about past but to Cary on like this is childish and ridiculous. By being on this forum it means you accepted to support a team called Wests Tigers. Like it or not Balmain Tigers and Wests Magpies no longer exist. I have 3 kids all under the age of 10 they know no better and never will mad Wests Tigers supporters. That's all the know. I will teach them the heritage of both clubs. Plus beats the allternative their mother was yes was a Bulldogs supporter. It's West Tigers not Wests not Tigers and certainly not Balmain or Magpies.

So true GNR but I got to admit for all those reasons you mention I wont back down to an argument to defend our side of the merger even though I know we should all be past it by now!!!The hierarchy have not made it any easier!!

You would think we could sue the former Govt for forcing the club to acquire all the additional land so the light rail could be built, and then backing out at the 11th hour, which is what has caused a lot if this financial strain. But like a lot if things concerning this debacle, nobody can get an exact answer.
The only certainty is that this is affecting the financial position of the WTs and not just the Balmain side of things.
I think this is an issue that should be of more concern to all WT fans, instead of how much orange is on our socks as opposed to white. But hey, what would I know.

Yeah but im not above saying there are people who take the conspiracy crap from the Maggies side to ridiculous levels. Thats how i know myself that i've truly embraced the JV cos i'll happily criticize those who supported the same team i supported as a kid. They are gone, leave them in the past and move on with your life instead of clinging onto a watered down version of a side you once supported
