WT Christco NRL Heritage Bar Pack

Dissapointing to see Christco / NRL endorse a WT Heritage Pack available in **Balmain Tigers** version ONLY with NO **Western Suburbs Magpies** option. The NRL (ARLC) should ensure that the history and tradition of Western Suburbs is recognised properly (like in 2008) and is equal to and just as significant as Balmain Tigers. NRL was contacted on this product and person contacting was told that 'Balmain Tigers' are the official retro team for Wests Tigers according to the NRL… **Ummm not true.**

WT fans of eiether Balmain or Wests following Origin should be able to enjoy such a product.

Are we ever going to recognise the year 2000 as part of our heritage? Those bar packs look awesome but I'd like a west tigers one, you know, being a wests tigers fan and all.

All NSW Clubs live and thrive off their heritage and tradition… Think Souths, Canterbury, Roosters and St.George-Illawarra. WT originated from 2 x Foundation 1908 clubs - it has 12 years of combined history but 200 years of combined history. 80-90% of WT fans follow the team because they originally followed Western Suburbs or Balmain. I will ask again, does WT have less history and tradition in the game then Melbourne Storm?

By years in the NRL they do but in the history of RL in Australia they do not. Leichhardt Oval has the history and traditon of Balmain and the NRL trophy features Wests Arthur Summons from the 1963 GF of Wests vs St.George..

I agree.
unfortunately for us at times due to the merger forces outside the club neglect our history it is an unfortunate reality this here is an example of that, not right but sadly one of those things

No Illawarra either - they most likely made a decision on which they might sell more of.
Pesonally think they would have been better served including Wests plus Norths and Newtown who all have a strong retro supporter base.

Out of interest, how many people on here would buy Balmain or Wests Magpies merchandise today? The last thing I bought was a magpies Victa jersey about 10 years ago. I really couldnt see myself buying anything but WT gear these days.
And I'm 42 years old, not someone who doesnt remember the former teams.
