@smeghead said:Te Wyong team is an interesting decision.
No NRL backing could make it hard for them.
However there are a lot of ex NSW Cup players (very good ones at that) running around on the Central Coast so if they can attract those it will be a good start
@weststigers4life said:Smeg, will the decision regarding who will be the coach of WT NSW Cup team be similar to first grade where a sub-committee will make it's recommendations to the the board? Would the likely candidates be Fletcher, Epifania & Payten? Thanks mate

While I was a Balmain fan I always cheered for our Wests brothers since the marriage - now we are all one.
Embrace it, let's all move on to a very exciting new chapter!

They have delusions of grandeur over at Wyong. First the Central Coast wasn't good enough and they buggered off to Newcastle and now the NSW Cup? It's not like they're dominant up there. You'd think you would start off in the Bundy Cup first, as you say with no affiliate it could be a tough slog for them.

Totally agree Yoss …. Seems like a brilliant way to burn a whole bunch of cash.
Didn't they notice how Wests (the only no aligned NRL team) went this year.
Surely they've just ticked the wrong box and really intended to enter the Bundy Cup.
Green and Gold insanity!
