great bench, but yes, the centres, the centres…....

Interesting that Austin is 5/8 though, I guess Potter feels Mitchell makes for a better fullback.

I think it primarily to keep Moses out of the frontline defence for now.

I'm praying that Farah & Woods pull up ok after tomorrow night . It's gonna be a tough ask for both of them .

It's not just that our centres offer less than nothing, it's that they're coming up against Matai & Lyon, probably the best centre combo going around.

As many have said, not a bad team bar the centres…. though I would personally have picked Moses in the halves, because we are going to need hAustins extra size stopping Matai and Lyon on the break-away.

there are other factors to selecting a side than just purely form.

Salary Cap is a major factor that people always seem to overlook it hampered us last year and seems to be doing the same this year.

With Moltzen, Tedesco, Fulton, Sue, Anasta, Simona, Thompson, Paterson all unavailable from the Top 25 most of them have had to miss games over the season. The way the second tier cap is structured you can't play a player eg Fine over a top 25 player in Lulia (that is based on wages). If we are anywhere close to the cap limit for the second tier cap which i would imagine we would be with guys like BMM, Koro and Naiyaravoro leaving from the top 25 and players like Akuola, Lodge, Rowe, Luani all getting runs in the top grade squad for a period along with bonuses I don't like our chances of playing younger players this year due to such factors

Matai has softer shoulders than Bunji. Problem is we need the defender to make contact to have him waving for the trainers.

If we can't beat them in the centres we will beat them in the forwards.

we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender…

Dean Halatau was a centre before he became a lock. But, as you say, he might need to play hooker to relieve Robbie. He was excellent vs Penrith. Luani was diabolical.
