I cannot even remember the player name. That's it Tuimoala Lolohea... Totally wrong year, 2018.
We recruited them as an outside back and they had maybe 3 good games. Then nothing.
hit that goal against the roosters for tedesco's first game....Tui will always have a place in my good wishes

Thanks jirskyr
Thank goodness someone has been able to set out clearly what the situation is with Wests Tigers....
who the Board are and how Our Club is financially set up.
And it's my understanding Our Club can only ever going forward be known as Wests Tigers as decreed by the NRL quite a few years ago.
And as you said Cochise "knows the details better than me" so I reckon it would be a great idea to get him on here to explain in finer detail what's what and when that was settled.
The NRL own the clubs names and logos so we can't change the name without their consent. Nothing to say they would have a problem if we did want to change it though.

We bought him as our next big fullback and he was terrible under the high ball, not sure who I blame for that, but our recruitment investigation prior to investment seems like an afterthought.
I’ve been told he’s been playing well in the halves in pommy land.

Generous to who izotope? 🙂
What will buying Balmain's seats achieve?
Generous to balmain to be able to regain control after paying back your debt
We would control 50% of wests tigers, once we pay the loan back of course.

That could be a way of changing how things are run. I'm sure Balmain would sell the club to anyone willing to pay off their debts. New owners would then have seats on the Wests Tigers board.

Wests Tigers Rugby League Football Club PTY LTD is the holder of the NRL Licence.

The Ownership of WTRLFC PTY LTD is Wests Magpies PTY LTD 90% Balmain Tigers 10%

Wests Magpies PTY LTD is 66% Holmans Barnes Group (Formerly Wests Ashfield) and 33% Western Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club (WSDRLFC)

WSDRLFC has a 7 person board 4 directors appointed by the Holman Barnes Group and 3 elected by the Members of WSDRLFC

Wests Tigers Rugby League Football Club (holder of the NRL licence) has a board of up to 8 directors, 4 appointed by the Holman Barnes Group, 1 by WSDRLFC, 1 by Balmain District Rugby League Club and 2 independent directors.

The Holman Barnes Group has a 7 person board, 5 directors appointed by the Debenture Holders of the Holman Barnes Group and 2 elected by the general membership of the Holman Barnes Group. There are currently 20 debenture Holders of the Holman Barnes Group.

Basically unless you are one of the 20 Debenture Holders of the Holman Barnes Group it is virtually impossible to have any meaningful impact on the running of the above clubs.

In 2020 Wests Ashfield (Now the Holman Barnes Group) merged (took over) the Balmain Leagues Club and now runs those clubs and the future Balmain Leagues Club in Rozelle. The Holman Barnes Group provides a grant to the Balmain District Rugby League club to run the Balmain Jnr League. They closed the Fivedock Tigers Leagues Club and currently run Wests Ashfield, The Market Club and Croydon Sports Club.

Happy to answer any questions I can if that didn't cover what you wanted to know.

Pull your head out mate……it’s not about the cake, it’s the way a 200game veteran is honoured. It shows how our organisation works and it stinks.
I think even though he’s only been with us a short time we should have done better than a post it note on a cheap looking cake.
You're off your meds. I know we are desperate for a win, but when you start complaining about what type of cakes they buy, you've officially lost the plot.

What the hell is a cheap-looking cake anyway? It's the cheap tasting cakes I'm worried about, and I wasn't there to eat it.

Were any of you there, did any of you speak to David Klemmer about how he felt about the day, did you speak to Klemmer's family? Nope you saw a 2-second grab of a cake; and cake plus no wins = madness.

Respect your thoughts J but Imo its just another symbol of the ineptitude running through the club.

“The only alternative is for someone to fall on their own sword,” Hagipantelis says.
“If someone was able to convince me that on-field performance would improve with the termination of Justin Pascoe, for example, I would recommend it to the board of directors.
“People should not diminish the responsibility of the board in determining these things. Recommendations as to recruitment and retention, for example, are elevated to the board to sign off on.

“There are things the CEO has autonomy over, there are others he has to elevate to the board for approval. We are all accountable.”
Is it just me or is that a deferring blame wholly and solely to the board
