problem with a joint venture is we cant vote out this board directly like most other clubs can do.

It’s about time someone on the board showed the kind of leadership expected of the players.
I suppose the board has the right to sack the chair and CEO as well?

Chair needs to remove the leaker from the board before anything else happens.

Interested question- What other clubs allow members to vote on the board?

And are they the high performing boards?

Yes, that’s a priority.
The source of the leak should already be known. It’s also important to uncover the ongoing issue of why disagreements are so self destructive. Do the members not have a common priority goal? Do they not share the same vision? Do individuals have personal conflicting goals? Or does the job become too stressful ? Do they have a stress management plan?
It’s hard to understand how they continue to get it so wrong?

A board that doesn't always agree isn't a problem as long as when a decision in made a united front is displayed, this is an area where our board falls down.

In fact it is much healthier if there are a number of different views inside the Board Room. Once a decision is made though, a united front is needed.

Follow the money, if a few thousand Tigers fans are serious about change they should join WA and make WT issues/governance a core issue at Ashfield.

100%, the best leadership groups I have worked on had extremely robust conversations but all were on the same page once we left that room.

I think it takes 3 years to get voting rights.

You need some disagreement to challenge the validity of decisions, but these guys are obviously taking it too far. This makes me think there has never been clear lines of responsibility in various roles within the organisation, rather a might is right, do it my way view of certain decision making areas?
I remember talking to an ex origin player about his business. He kept losing money. He would grow a subsidiary and put another ex player in as manager. His loyalty to his ex teammates was admirable and took priority over growing the business. I think a few of his subsidiaries went to the wall in pretty quick time after they opened.

New poll timr

Who is the leak on the board

My money is on donald Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon guy 😂

Leaks will always happen because they don't know what they're there for...
The primary function.
They think it's for Glory or resume building...
